Do you have any idea how accurate a BleacherReacher can be if loaded with custom ammunition? (And the follow-up question is do you know what I could use as custom ammunition.)

a golf ball or beer can launcherI often end up in a situation where I have a clump of tree litter, a frisbee or other toy, or some (abandoned) nesting materials or other trash up in a tree or stuck into some other piece of infrastructure 20+ feet off the ground. Or even a precarious dead branch. And I think, "I wish I just could smack that out of there with a big fat projectile". I don't want to penetrate anything, and I don't want the projectile to be dangerous coming down, but I want to reach up and whack something.
So I have the idea stuck in my head that I want something that could launch a blunt projectile, something like a Nerf football or tennis ball, at a few hundred feet per second. I think that'd be useful ability to possess.
Is there such a product? Any insight on how I could build such a product? I think I'd prefer a PCP version.
If I stuck a Nerf football or tennis ball on the end of an arrow, and fired it out of something like an AirJavelin, am I liable to explode the arrow shaft? Does anybody make an arrow shooter I can regulate to fire heavier-than-normal projectiles at what I'd expect to be a slower-than-normal velocity?
I mean just the outer shell of a moderator. I had one where the end cap could be removed so it was just a 2” diam tube threaded on the end of the barrel. What is a "can" in this context?
I really LOVE that!I use an Air Cannon with the "Plug" weighted with BB's. See attached photos. The Plug weighted comes in at 1-pound and depends how much air you pump into the cylinder, but it can be shot out of sight vertically. I glue on one end of the plug, fill the body with BB's, add epoxy and seal the other end with a cap. This thing is scary how powerful it can be. I have another plug that I weighted and installed an eyebolt in one end and attach a long para-cord to shoot up into a tree and then pull a rope when I am cutting the tree down.

Hello @iAMzehTOASTY1I really LOVE that!
Would be funner tham untangling my grappling hook rope when I miss a limb to tie to for felling trees![]()
Hello @iAMzehTOASTY1
On a really tall tree, 75 to 100 ft, I shoot over a limb, then pull the para-cord so that I can shoot again in the opposite direction, around the tree. Use a shackle to allow the rope to be pulled tight way up in the tree. No fear of the tree falling in the wrong direction.

in Ham (armature ) radio there is a tennis ball launcher designed to put up a wire antenna sling shot version or air powered , you could build a sling shot version .I often end up in a situation where I have a clump of tree litter, a frisbee or other toy, or some (abandoned) nesting materials or other trash up in a tree or stuck into some other piece of infrastructure 20+ feet off the ground. That's a danger with bowfishing in general, no?If it ever gets tangled when shot I wouldnt want to be the person behind it. Or if you forget to disengage spool on reel, be a good way to get hurt really bad.
