What Compressor do you have and how is it working and mini review.

I’m starting a user blog on what compressor you have how long have you had it approximate number of hours on it cost of repairs if any and dealer service. If you can think of anything else to add go for it.

ive had a Carette with the alpha filter for close to a year. I have around 35 hours on it. The only problem I had was I had to replace a burst disk.about 10 hours ago. The dealer did send me the burst disk at no cost. (Joe B). I have 3 tanks a 6.8L , 9 L, and a 90ci. It takes about 1.25 hour to go from 3000psi to 4500 in the 9L 45 minutes in the 6.iL and 20 minutes in the 90ci. Unit is quiet you can stand next to and make a phone call it’s belt drivin. 
Overall I am happy with it and I’m not sorry I bought it, but with what I’ve learned since getting it if I could do it over I think I would spend a bit more and get the Daystate.
 
I use the Altaros booster system paired with a 15Gal Dewalt compressor. I have it rigged up with multiple pre Altaros water filters and a JB Alpha High press filter. Bought from a member here, pretty much new. Don’t know hours, but not many, maybe 15-25 hrs? It is a slow fill, don’t remember times, may update soon as I have to fill from scratch soon. Have done nothing to it since purchased.

Exactly what Brian said but no burst disc fault.

I have an AirTex TX45 I bought a couple of years ago. It only has maybe less than 10 hours on it because it fills my 97 cu ft tank so fast. It is built like a tank, comes with a 3 filter system to assure dry air and works like a champ. 
It is probably overkill for what we do, but it has been worth ever cent to me.

I have an Air Venturi I bought six months back . I have a 60min tank and a 45 minute tank. the 60 min fills from 3000 to 4500 in 32 minutes and the 45 min tank fills from 3000 to 4500 in 18 minutes. It has never overheated or given me any problems at all.This is a very fast air compressor and doesn't make very much noise. I run it in my office at home . With the door closed and TV on in the next room I barely know its running. It had a little smell the first time I ran it but nothing since.It may blow-up tomorrow but as of right now I couldn't be any happier with the purchase.

I have an Omega Turbo, i fill one 97cuft Great White tank from Joe B and i also have two large steel 437cu ft 4500psi tanks that are used for quick top offs of the smaller Joe B tank. I have 10.5 hours on the compressor with no issues so far. Purchased the Omega from AOA over a year ago. It will fill the 97cuft great white from 3500 to 4500 in 15 -20 min or so.

I have two of the cheap Chinese yong hengs,i guess it sums it up on how they work(great).fills rifles directly in 30 seconds,so far inside rifles has been dry and clean.i use the set pressure unit and keep other one for back up.the water bucket is the biggest drawback but not too bad.overall they are great little units for the cost,i have around $525. in the both of them.used them every day during hunting season...the only real problem I see is running out of pellets and having to order more.
no explosions and parts availability are to be expected and they are simple units if they need worked on.

I have an Omega Super Charger and I'm pretty happy with it. At the time of purchase it was defective with a chip broken off on the piston. Sent it back to AoA and Todd went through it with a fine tooth comb and sent it back to me. Since then it has worked flawlessly. My only gripe was that AoA required me to pay $125 for shipping back to Arizona from North Carolina ... I didn't think that was right because the charger was still under warranty, the chip on the piston which kept the compressor from building pressure was something that happened at the factory according to Todd ... makes you wonder how it got past all the testing that they supposedly do to these things before shipment to the end user. but as I said, after the initial foul up it has been flawless and couldn't be happier ... I've had it for a little over a year.

I have a Carette with a gold high pressure filter and the overflow catch can mod. I've got 15 hours on it in a year and it works perfectly. It fills a 3L tank from empty to 4.5K in an hour. There are faster filling competitor compressors but the Carette is belt driven at 1100 rpms so it is quieter and cooler running. Less heat means less wear and tear and longer term durability. It has extra convenience features the competition lacks. It can run unattended for an entire fill from empty with any size tank since it has an automatic moisture drain and automatic user adjustable shutoff pressure. It has a built in hour meter to monitor the oil and filter desiccant changes without guessing or keeping a written log. IMO, it is still the best compressor value for non commercial tank filling applications. I sold a Bauer Utilus after I bought the Carette. The Utilus was a great compressor but weighs 170 lbs and runs on 230V. It cost much less to buy the Carette yet it still provides excellent performance, convenience, and build quality.

Just last night I was looking at the LOW cost small Chinese cheap compressors I am rather hesitant to spend a dollar on and I see that "Mophorn" ( company ) products are now "fulfilled by amazon" which I think ( ??? personally never tried it) offers protection for prime members? I'm going to check into that and IF covered by Amazon I will need to deside between a new low budget airgun or trying one of these "rifle fill" - not 100cf SCBA or such) little pumps.

I have in the past spent $300+ year on air from a scuba store, if the cheapie would fill rifles for a year it's a break even, and, if the darn thing worked I have another airgunner lined up - he just wants air w/out pumping.

I have the two cylinder Tuxing, which I modified by adding a cooling system so its equivalent of the AV and new Hatsan. I have about 5 hours run time on it, and it tops off an 88 cubic foot tank from 3200 to 4500 psi in less than 15 minutes. Haven't had any issues with it at all, runs on 115vac, and it has the "gold" filter/dryer with Zeolite 13X molecular sieve. I changed the oil after the first hour but not since then. The Royal Purple synthetic oil is still purple in color and doesn't seem at all discolored or burnt. Overall I'm happy with the $800 I spent on this rig and its performance. Its been over six months now, lets see how it goes over the next year...

Thanks guys , great timing . Plan to buy a Carette at the end of the month . I started with a first gen shoebox , other than a rebuild about 8hrs in no real issues other than it was just faster to use the hand pump . Got a knock off yong heng in March that lasted maybe two hours . Nothing but problems from the minute it came out of the box . Time for a proper compressor .

I have the Daystate LC110 that I purchased from AoA for $1895 +$45 shipping.
My brief experience is positive. Filled two 88cu ft tanks from 0 to 4500 in ~1h 25m. Topped off both of those tanks from 3500 to 4500 in <15 mins, and a great white as well. I have ~4hrs of runtime. I'll do the 1st oil change soon. I added the “gold” filter/dryer with Zeolite 13X molecular sieve that Centercut & Humdinger recommended. So far, so good!

Purchased a Shoebox Freedom 10 about 18 months ago. Currently about 20 hours on it. Running a water/oil separator, 10 micron filter, and desiccant dryer between shop compressor and the Shoebox. No filter/dryer on the high side output. My biggest draw to this machine is the simplicity/serviceability. It is relatively slow for filling tanks but that was the least of my considerations. I'm seeing approximately 20 minute fill time from 3k to 4.5k on an AV 90ci tank. Sounds like a large sewing machine...the shop compressor is MUCH louder when it cycles on. Subjectively speaking, it's about as loud as a washing machine. I've noticed some silicone oil drip from the out put nipple after removing the high side line. I'm not sure how much is making it into the tank and subsequently the rifles. Recently shimmed the AV tank valve with no noticeable oil/build up. And have disassembled two of the guns (valve upgrades/orings) but have not noticed any level of obvious residue in the reservoirs or the old valves. 

Pros: Simple design = easily serviceable with replacement parts available from manufacturer. The motor/components appear HD. Cutoff PSI is adjustable between 3k and 4.5k. 
Cons: Slow fill time.
