Well.... 😞

Some highly needed self-bought presents from a well-known airgun store did not ship till almost 3 weeks after I ordered them.

▪ There was no indication when I ordered that any of the items were not in stock.
▪ Or that it would take this long to ship something small and simple out....
▪ I have no idea for the reason of the delay.
▪ Nor was I warned of such an unacceptably long delay.


➠ So, my "presents" did not make the flight to Peru that my airgun mule is catching now.... 😞

It will be another 8 o 10 months before the next airgun mule flies down here.... 😞

Just got this in today, Taipan Vet Long .25 with a ton of extras. going to be ordering some pellets and a bigger Tank soon with GC's I already got for Amazon.

My new NV500 digital scope will arrive before Xmas. It will be a little whore for a while moving from gun to gun. So far, my Savage .223, the Walther bullpup .22, the .270 will require some mounting provisions. Of course the Blitz will get it's turn. Likely the first time I've spent more on an optic vs. the gun wearing it.
I also ordered up a couple more mags and a speedloader for my Hatsan Blitz. I love emptying mags and shall do so more often. It takes a whole lot longer to fill those mags, than it does to empty them. Hoping the Hatsan speedloader helps, the video looks good.
Tough to beat last years Xmas, we shut down our little company and retired. For Xmas we got ourselves a new Tesla Model 3 performance, it got new cabin air filters for this Xmas, other than swapping seasonal tires and wheels it's the only "maintenance" I've done in a year and 23 K miles of ownership, zero defects. It feels good to drive American again, especially when it is a markedly superior product. Hint..it ain't just the car. Electric would be a no go W/O the Tesla superchargers.

Update.
It seem like X-mas are back on, but not with my old mother, Simply too fragile and also for us not at all fit 2 children hard to move.
My little sister, probably need to get that neck spine surgery redone like it or not, and her knee still blown too after that work place accident.

Been buying presents today, mainly to the little ones my oldest niece have, but also found something for a couple of the older "kids "
Unsure by present for self, but sure it will have to wait until spring.

we had a 32" and it was good but small for the gathering room. new one is a 65"

I'm thinkin the Samsung OLED 83" my bride tells me wait for super bowl for the best deals.
I got the NV 500 mounted up on the Blitz. I need to do the measurements for above bore height still and shoot the darn thing to zero it. Tight squeeze but it laid out well and feels comfy to shoot. Other stuff to do so will get put off for a bit. Lots to learn with this device, but so far I am lovin it. I'm going to need some sticks or a tripod, it is a heavy beast.

I got myself the fx true ballistics chronograph and the fx helix 1500 range finder for Christmas. Not cheap but found some great deals and had to do it!
I have to say the chronograph is a huge improvementfrom what i was using before, also helped me improve my slug accuracy long distance. The range finder with the upload able data really improved my time to put lead on the targets. Is going to certainly help the squeak blasting this spring!

Well X- mas here almost got derailed anyway, curtsey of my sisters youngest daughter, that aside for a ADHD diagnose, i will venture as a hobby shrink and say she have several hallmarks of psychopaths in her behaviour.
so my plan to shoot first and then go have dinner and gifts, got curbed and instead i had to go play bodyguard against a girl that on the day in the span of few hours launched several murder threats in TXT messages.

It is pretty close to where the most healthy thing for my little sisters well being might be a restraining order against the 21 or so year old girl.
Little sis way more emotional than this big brother is, even if i have become quite soft lately.

Funny thing she never pulled any of her tricks on me, but probably as she know Uncle is hard to impress and in this regard have seen a lot.
Though i doubt it, CUZ i was of course not that famous when i was a young punk / parasite, and the circles the girl have been trapped in, i dont think she have heard any of the stories about uncle, and i have of course not told her / anyone everything.
When you do quite a few things, the last thing you will want is a reputation, best to be a big ? to people.

Anyway as i would like to, though not really need to, i put the things needed in a shopping cart online i need to upgrade my PC.
This ( motherboard / CPU / RAM + case ) added up to 1200 USD, though then i still need to add a latest gen NVME drive to boot on, and a few fans to keep the cool.
So pretty up there in damn nice airgun territory.
