What did you do airgun related today.

I took half a dozen shots with my cz200 hunter from a knee position. It needs improvement, but it’d still be a dead rodent.

just got here today so I mounted a bugbuster on it and have been zeroing it in. they seem to be a decent scope for close/intermediate range, especially for the price. I'm always a little nervous using an HPA bottle as a stock though, just something about that much pressure being pressed against my face.

FInally took my new NOTOS out of the box and sighted it in at 40 yrds. Also dug out every tin of .22 pellets I had, to see which ones it prefers. Seems it isn't too pellet picky, grouping everything within 1/2" except for 2 brands. Very productive day for me 2day.

Pulled out the Aircuda and tried the AEA .25 cal Centerpunch 25.3 grain pellets and I think I have found a winner. Was a beautiful day with low winds and seen great results from today's session.

Did you clean the barrel? I cleaned mine and a buddies straight out of the box and they were both loaded with gunk.

Not a lot... but did destroy 2 carpenter bees mid flight with a Barra 400e. That was satisfying. Also tried Premiers out of my Notos. 25 yards, spot on... 40 yards 2 inch groups... next!

Finished 2 PP750 conversions that had been started by an airgunner.

Got a waterlogged Notos that was painted solid. Lots of rust inside. I almost cried when I pulled it apart.

Finally got my new sling out of the mail today, and installed. Classic skiny brown leather....for those of you hoping for pink tye dye to match some custom laminate stock I don't have coming, you are learning to live with disappointment.

I shot some 10m targets standing. I put them down somewhere before I scored them. Not great, but I practiced!

Spent some time adding stippling to a rifle stock to get rid of the factory stamped in checkering. 1 of the 4 checkered panels was almost nonexistant with the factory stamp. Had to work to see the outline to trace it with a pencil to get a uniform shape.

I had a busy yet enjoyable day. I finished dialing in my Texan 308 at 100 meters using 115gr bullets. I also created a dope card for the same 308 with 106gr bullets, taking the first picture at 80 meters, and the second at 100 and 200 meters. Each shot landed almost dead center on the targets. And to top it off, when I got home, FedEx had delivered my Tuxing compressor (the one on the left).

Cleaning rust off a customers pcp, the gun was just filled with water!
