I caught the flu my 10mon old son has. He’s doing better, and my temp dropped to 99.
I shot a few rounds with my CZ200 Hunter today. I’m still trying to find some rings that will fit on the rifle and this compact Veyron scope the best. The ones I’m using are a little too high.

I found the agama I shot yesterday. They can be difficult to find if the grass is a little long. It was a vitals shot. I also tested my Veyron 10x and CZ200 hunter today on an anole. Both were about 18-20 yards





I also unpacked 6 tins of AA 10.3's to feed the CZ's. From my favorite pellet store Trenier.

I scared all the starlings off, so I could definitely use this.

I know what you mean. I bought a dozen and as soon as I set them out, I had hardly taken my seat on the back porch befor a couple of Starling flew in and landed in the middle of the deeks. Shooting was fast and furious.

Only thing I did was fill my CZ200 with air and take a few shots at steel.
I think I’ve shot every day for the last 4 months, even if it’s just a handful of shots to verify zero.

I loaded up my gear for a field target red zone match in Baton Rouge tomorrow then shot my .20 TM1000 HFT pistol as I’m trying to establish a good repeatable technique.

I found the problem with my Umerex 1911. Broke part. They use a really cheap pot metal to make the parts.
I think I'm done with the replica guns.

Yesterday, I played around with light pellets and low power on my DreamTac. I had lowered the regulator pressure from 120 to 100 bar and then retuned for JSB 10.34gr Heavies at 880 (17.8 fpe) fps last weekend (had been tuned for 13.43 Monsters ~890 fps (23.6 fpe) @120 bar). So the low power changed a little. Seems the slowest the 7.33's will go is 650 fps (6.9 fpe) on the Low TP setting and anywhere from Min to 2/D on the hammer. They jump up to 680 (7.5 fpe) on 3/C. Settled for 650 at 1 because it's easy to remember and puts out a very stable +/- 5-8 fps. If the weather cooperates, I'm going to see how many mags I can run per fill today.
I like to have the gun set up this way. I've had more than one occasion to switch from low to high power and take a single, effective 50 yard pesting shot and then go right back to low power. With the new neighbors, I've felt better about bringing the targets inside of 25 yards of my "bench". The low fpe keeps things very quiet and safe while extending the shot count, all of which add up to more trigger time for me. And round about 7 fpe still puts enough power downrange to punch holes in sparrow heads at 20 yards.

Shot and killed DRT, three pest birds with my Ghost XR Carbine, two at 64 yards, the third at 35 yards. Then did some sweet plinking at 25, 40, 50, 54, 60 and 102 yards. Sending JSB Exact Jumbo 18.13s…

Took the barrel out to inspect leade and crown after reading some guides on possible improvements. Not sure where all the fuzz came from, but looks better than some things I've seen online.

Took advantage of the PA 4th of July discount and ordered a couple pellets lol.

Got a couple mags for my 2260 multi shot and one for the hatsan invader.

I picked up some JTS wadcutters to try for short range pesting. Anyone try these yet? They're the 14.89 grain flavor.

I converted my Maverick .25 back to its pellet configuration today. It was set up for slugs with the slug power kit and heavy liner, but I only had moderate success shooting slugs. So from now on it will be shooting the 34gr FX pellets, just as its brother the Panthera. At 50m these pellets beat any slug I tried in terms of accuracy.

I took pictures of my cricket .35 and aea max 35 to out for sale, also confirmed the sales and trades for my Talon P, Huben GK1, and AEA challenger in return I will be getting some cash and an Impact M3 when I come back from my cruise. I LOVE the GK1 but I miss the heck out of owning, tinkering and shooting an impact, hopefully that feeling comes back although my impact used to be a mk2

I put an Athlon Talos 10x on my Bullshark and started tuning it for 13gr pellets. I think I can turn down the regulator a bit tomorrow. It was shooting well out to 18 yards. It’s currently putting out 22 FPE. It’s a pest and plinking gun, so I won’t go too crazy. I decided in the last 2 years that I love bullpups, just not for benchrest shooting.

I have the heavier wadcutters. I only shot them from my Notos I think, and it wasn’t a fan. I want to try those and the Norma heavy with my Concept Lite.
