What did you do airgun related today.

Got a nice lit magnifier as a Christmas present to me. Took apart the Raptor to find the ^%$# air leak, I think I found it, the 0-ring in the fill check valve had a bad one or a very tiny piece had broken off. Still awaiting my other present from me to me.

What did you do today?

Sort pellets?
Mount a scope?
Shoot a rifle you have not had out in awhile?
Checked some seals?
Checked to make sure all screws are tight?
You name it.

I’m trying to stay away from the buy/receive haha
This thread is to promote what you already have.

I took my Pard NV008 off my Notos and put it on my P35 25 cal. I zeroed using my ZB mount to my required distances. I also set up a camera to alert me to the critters I’m after. There are some larger critters that need some lead at night. I also plan on installing the plenum and barrel kit as well as some buck rail stuff on the notos.
This is curious.
I ordered a umarex notos today. Should be here Thursday. Hopefully I Will shoot it Friday

Assessed my pellet trap and it needs some overhaul due to holes in back wall. It was built few years ago before I bought my first PCP. It worked fine with springers that I have. But shooting 13.43gr JSB KO in tight group made holes in the back wall.

Then installed foldable stock to PP700S-A. It was a bit wobbly at the folding hinge when un-folded. Glued shims to take up free space. Credit card thickness was just right. Colored them black with sharpie.

Reorganized gun cabinet and found out that my FX Dreamline's bottle gauge reads "0". It has been sitting in "idle" for several months. Still had pressure in plenum (reg. pressure). Filled bottle to 150bar. Will see tomorrow what it shows.

my pellet trap
Visiting my M8 Tuesday to put another roof ( tarp ) on the shot shed, i found a tire thread a truck had thrown off, i picked it up CUZ i think it will be excellent for a pellet trap.

It will be " fun " cutting it into smaller pieces though, CUZ i cant see any other tool we have for doing it other than a angle grinder, and that in thick rubber got to be tricky.

I am a little on the back foot about how to mount it, i think if you just use it as a backing on a sloped angle like your trap, well as it is rubber it might just be kicked strait back out of the trap rather than getting deflected down.
So i have contemplated smaller strips of it that can flex a little when hit and then just " drop " the pellet strait down

It will of course necessitate a trap that is somewhat oversized to make things fit, but i am OK with that as it will not be moveable, or at least not without a ATV

Sawzall works like butter, just cut out the steel belt. I cut up old Atv tires in small squares to use as a door sweep on shed doors

My family and home have been getting all my attention the last few months. I had a major repair to my roof. My kid has had a stomach virus, flu a, and now pneumonia. He's back to getting well. I had the flu and it kicked my butt.

Today I put the AA magazine system on my S200. The S200 and Huntsman both got mounted with Discovery 6x compact scopes. Invasive lizards have a lot of lead heading their way!
