guess I need to order more mags for .177 as they only come with one, no one has any benjamin mags so will have to get carm mags for this one. May order a tube clamp pic rail from the .22 and put the sling pic rail adaptor on the .177

Akela must be that good for you to own two. I was thinking about getting a .177 but just found out Benjamin had discontinued it, which makes me weary of warranty support or sourcing of parts.

I have no worries these deals can’t be beat for these guns and AR will have parts, heck I was able to get reseal kits for 2 Benjamin 342s that are almost 50 years old last year.

Ordered 2 tri rail barrel bands for the akelas from buck rail, 2 of those are cheaper than one tube rail
And 2 .177 mags from AR

Received a 45 lb box of lead from UPS, a half pig of it. Pretty heavy! It will keep me casting a long time. Have two molds, a 17gr wad cutter and 28gr slug in 22. Both work great, but the wad cutters are much harder to cast, simply because the mold keeps cooling off quicker.

I received a FWB 602 from a member in Hawaii late yesterday. I knew it had some problems, and spotted a crumbling seal right away, so packed up the barreled action and shipped that part out to David Slade this afternoon. Stock has some minor dents which I will steam out next week.

Finally got pellets I ordered from PA on 12-19 today. Ups lost first box, claims process is a joke. FYI if ups loses a package, have PA or any other seller file a claim. I filed with UPS and then notified PA which is the wrong way apparently.

This seems to be the way with USPS now. USPS misplaced a package for 13 days. But the package had been mailed several days earlier. I could not file a claim as the recipient. Only the shipper (after 15 days). After the claim was made by the shipper, miraculously the package showed up in the middle of the night two days later. But, I had already received a replacement shipment via UPS. So I need to send back the original package. Don't need two of them. It's been a pain in the neck, for something that wasn't my fault...

Over the holidays I picked up the .22 version of my Gamo Magnum .25.
Black .25 is set up with a red dot for <20 yard pesting of larger critters.
Olive .22 has the stock scope to practice plinking at 20-50 yards.
Still breaking in the .22 with the cheap Gamo combo pack of pellets. The dome ones have been giving the best groupings so far, the pointed ones are all over the place. After a couple hundred more shots I’ll try some nicer ones.

Found out my Vulcan 3 .30 is a 2022 model, so I ordered a depinger since it doesn't have one, as well as a TT hammer spring just incase I ever want to play with it.

It has been so long since I ordered the AOA HW 90 20 cal w/mounts and rings, gauge, full sleeve of pellet tins, moderator, and some adjustments. I thought maybe my credit card had rejected the order or some other horror. The gun is in St Joseph and will be delivered some day. AOA checked for me. The moderator is paid for so will be sent as soon as it arrives. I can go back and forth from the 20 to 25 cal. UPS is worse right now. I think they were faster during the Christmas rush. Maybe Amazon Prime should sell HW airguns, pellets, and quality optics. Maybe Hawke Airmax! Be Well, B.
