Nice! Those are sweet little rigs and would make the ultimate woods walker. It’s been on my want list. I have the katran c and it’s a shooter. Edgun west had a smoking deal a few weeks ago on kraits. I’m sad I missed out but timing was bad.Received my Airmaks Krait in .22 yesterday from Talon Airguns. They weren't kidding when they said this thing is compact!

I think so far the only con is when you shoot a pellet, there’s lots of vibration on the entire gun and the hammer impact is right next to your ear so it seems a lot louder than what it really is. From experience none of my other bullpups did this.Nice! Those are sweet little rigs and would make the ultimate woods walker. It’s been on my want list. I have the katran c and it’s a shooter. Enjoy and let me know what you think of it.

Thanks. I noticed on my katran it came with a terrible tune. Big long blast of air that’s loud and wasting air. Shoots amazing with consistent numbers. Just an absolute air chugger haha. It’s a katran c from like 2-3 years ago though. Been meaning to dig into mine.I think so far the only con is when you shoot a pellet, there’s lots of vibration on the entire gun and the hammer impact is right next to your ear so it seems a lot louder than what it really is. That’s exactly it. I’m re-tuning mine and it has improved but there’s still quiet a bit of vibration. I might have to tune it to shoot 18.13gr or 15.89gr and see how well it does.Thanks. From my research it’s kinda common with airmaks. With some tuning they really shine. Get a lot more shots with a nice snappy shot. Yours being so much newer, you might be different.
Those krait lites with the wood sure are nice too.
Enjoy the new gun and have a great weekend,
Rob

My katran loves jts. Shoots the jsbs good to of course but the jts a hair better. My RTI has a cz barrel and is same. My RTI has a spring noise with my ear being so close. Drives me nuts. About to use higher rings and see if that helps get it away from my ear lol. That’s exactly it. I’m re-tuning mine and it has improved but there’s still quiet a bit of vibration. I’m looking for some shock absorbers. I wonder what would work. I have my Krait shooting H&N HP slugs .218 21gr At 900fps. So far pretty good. Vibration and noise is manageable. My katran loves jts. Nice to know that 400mm barrel with sling slugs. Not sure if some stick on foam will absorb some sound? Any Reg issues on your krait? I think that was all ironed out with the new ones. The old ones had a reg designed for UK power so I believe that was the issues.I’m looking for some shock absorbers. I wonder what would work.
