Have a lot of shooting to do.. Does anyone routinely carry the diopter sights for the Avanti? What can be done to acquire them? I can get a scope but this is for the great grands to learn to shoot on as is the 777. Oh Yeah! the 777 has the whole rear sight assembly wiggling in the gun. I see no attaching screws. Heellllp! There is no guarantee that all is perfect with the used gun. Unless the seller says it has been gone over by David Slade or another of the top airgun artist/mechanic wizards.Be Well Boys and Girls, Bandito.
their was just a thread about making the block the sight sits in / on maybe a week ago ? It was about fitting a missing sight to a 777 .

Oh yeah! I received that UGLY Hurricane with the 2X Leupold scope on it. It is BEAUTIFUL to me. I have wanted one since Robert Beeman sported them in his catalogs. It isn't as klunky as it looks when it shoots. Have to get a good straightedge out to check the scope alignment. It just looks low in front to my eye. Been many a year since I called myself a machinist but still look at things with a good critical eye. The point in this case being if this old gun shoots well enough I can see having the scope lower in the front. In the end it was a bucket list gun. And if nothing else I will use the scope on a PB. I prefer fixed X scopes to variable power in certain situations. Be Well Brothers, B.

I ordered a Crosman 1377 today. It will replace one that I lost or misplaced years ago. It makes sense for my needs to have an air pistol that doesn't rely on CO2. I may need to take care of a garden pest and I don't want to put a new CO2 in when I'm only taking a couple shots. We aren't over run with pests so my air guns are for fun a lot more than utility !
