What did you shoot today?

Spent time with my Crosman Optimus and Hatsan 87 .25

I have a cheap Chinese Crony that have worked great, today i was adding a tube (a empty bogroll actually) so i should not risk to shoot the censors, and what did i do @ the 4th shot with the Baikal mp 512? You guessed right, shoot the rear censors... So now i have to wait another month or so for a new one...

You know, I don’t agree with censors either but I don’t think shooting them is going to help our cause. 🙂

This is my Predom Lucznik WZ 1976 air pistol. It was manufactured by Zaklady Metalowe Predom-Lucznik in Radom, Poland from at least 1972 to about 1980 it is a copy of the Walther LP53. The parts are interchangeable but the LP53 is a much more refined gun.

I have resealed it and shot it for the first time today. Crony at 422fps average. Now it time to shoot some paper and see what it will do. I expect it to level off at around 400fps. My first six shots free hand at 25 feet.

Yesterday was pcp day. I sighted in a scope that was mounted on the Wildcat. Ran 40 pellets through it. Later that evening I shot the Royale 400 on low at paper 18 yards away rested on trigger sticks while standing. After dinner I mounted the red flashlight 🔦 ⭕️ and shot steel eggs and paper offhand are 30 yards. Great fun and relaxing too!

Tested and got chronograph numbers from my new/used Wildcat MkIII Compact in .22 today. Used the small Veyron scope to do initial testing, and it seemed a pretty good fit for the rifle. Then the man in the brown van came by in the early evening and dropped off my intended scope for the MkIII. I get to zeroing and testing the Pard tomorrow, but so far I am very impressed with it.

Rescue kitten... Crosman 1077, Craigslist $20

ran a few patches through it, pellgunoil on the threads and new C02 cartridge and set up the target. 12-round semi-auto magazine/clip set up. Should be fun for the neighbors and nephews this spring.

Heck.. it works. Even threw an old Primary Arms red dot on it just because. Pretty sure it hits MOPP (minute of paper plate) at 25 yards.
