What did you shoot today?

Well, the tree rat was shot yesterday... (grin)

.177 Benjamin Fortitude, 10.5 CPUM @~755fps/~13fpe ~25 yards

First shots after cleaning the barrel. Missed a target in there. Right picture was the first 10 rds. There was a target in the middle that the picture goofed on that tightened up a bit about a 1.1" group. And then there is the left target which cleaned up nicely. These are shot at 31yds off of a tripod. I think I could tighten it up a decent amount if shooting off of a bench.

Picked up a Beeman AR2789a - CO2 rifle last week, and with an adapter i just received to use a single cartridge.

Getting about 30 good shots, and drilling holes at almost 20 yards with the peep sight.

I also got a larger tank that i can refill, but I'll need to take the barrel off to mount it. The CO2 cartridges do make it so simple though, that i may hold off for a bit.

Why is my new Impact so d@mned heavy!!! Having just shot it for the first time yesterday, I knew that I had made some mistakes. Took off the forward extension for the bipod mount, and changed out the heavy scope I had first installed with an Optisan CP 10x32 which I didn't know where I was going to use it. Took off 17.24 ounces with the changes! Zero'd the Optisan in about 4 shots @ 25 yards and then shot some 5-shot groups. Now that's how an Impact is supposed to feel. Nice clear and bright view with the Optisan too.

I didn't check for any weight difference between the OEM shroud + moderator and the Huggett, but I like the Huggett so it is staying!

Matchstickshooter- Who makes the cheek riser?

I said I was done with my 1322, but this addiction is rough. I think a cheek riser and flat top are next.

Didn't get to shoot today but did throw together a rack for my SCBA tanks out of scrap wood to get them off the floor.

I got it here.... Not a great fit to the Crosman stock but I drilled and screwed it in place.
