Would you consider a Huben K1? Very ambidextrous, and no cocking. An earlier post mentioned the Sidewinder, and I have both (but I'm a righty), and I would not want to shoot the Sidewinder left handed if I had a beard. The Huben is a quieter gun with a better shot cycle, but the mag is not removable - I find that to be a non-issue in practice, unless you take it to a range - hard to prove that it is "safe" since the mag can't be removed or have a flag inserted in the breech.

I think it would be a great choice . . .

My RTI p3 is lefty friendly very accurate and plenty of power!

My suggestion is to have the work done for you. I have a local gunsmith who has done outstanding work for me more than once at very reasonable cost. I know how it can be with diy projects, had a few go bad myself. You may yet add another to your collection, I certainly have, but let someone else do it and if you still aren’t happy you can sell it in good working order.

Man,you guys/gals have been great with all the good ideas and advice.
I've watched a few videos now on the uragon2 and Vulcan3 and the mag being flush looks to be up my ally.
You know,I've had war flex, edgun,kalibrgun and even hatsans ,did some work on all of them at some point and never damaged or got a feeling that I might damage something working in it but man this fx has me all rattled and I don't think I can get over it.One thing for sure somebody else will be doing any work on it if I were to keep it.
Gonna watch some more videos on the ideas that have been listed .

As others have said, the Delta/Alpha wolf is fully ambi.
Although the Skout guns look similar to the Impact, the Mag is much more centered and I don't even touch it with my cheek or chin. They are much, much more sturdy in build as well!

This right here. A CNC machine would take a few extra lines of code to make an FX rifle left hand friendly. Boggles my mind. That's fine, I will take my funds else where.

The few times I handled an FX rifle I was afraid I was going to break it, they felt very flimsy. And that whole POI shifting issue would drive me mad.

Luckily there are companies out there that cater to left handed / ambidextrous shooters that are happy to take my funds and deliver a quality product.

The Taipan wins for hunting and the BRK wins for plinking. Both rifles are excellent ambidextrous options.

I agree though, the decisions made when there is money to be made is kinda crazy. But there are left handed kits for the M3 and the cocking lever is ambidextrous.

Maybe it wasn't worth the effort for them to do it on different platforms?

The BRK is perfect for my plinking needs. Plus the option to upgrade calibers / barrels in the future was a major factor.

Daystate has been selling bespoke left handed rifles before I started shooting. They always work. Never any surprises.

I do not want to purchase a rifle and then need to purchase a kit to make it left handed. I would probably mess it up and then madness.

AGT, RTI, Taipan and a few others make excellent ambidextrous rifles if Daystate is not your brand. Hell, even Marauders have always been ambidextrous.
