What Happened to the Rest of the "Resources" Content?

That forum was not operating as designed. It was a giant hodgepodge of all random resources mixed together.

Currently you can only see the “How to” use the forum. I’m not ready to unhide the “How to” Airgun forum.

There were roughly 150 threads in the original Resources forum. And I’d conservatively say that only a few dozen would be considered a valuable resource.

Ironically quite a few of the good threads were started by you @Ezana4CE and have already been moved to the future “How to” Airgun forum and will be a permanent resource. The rest of the threads will be moved to the appropriate forums.

Thanks did you’re contributions.

@Michael It's tough to control where members post information or to reorganize scattered info unless structured/hidden as the "How To" threads currently are. Can you please add threads like this one as well?

You're welcome. I'm happy to help.

Hi guys,
Yes I just uploaded three technical posts with annotated photos applying to EDgun R5M and Lelya, and a general one about o-rings. I spent a lot of time on these, firstly to help me remember for maintenance and also to share. I hope these end up reappearing in your newly planned how to section for air guns.

Are you planning to have them organized by make and model perhaps? I realize this is a lot of work to do, sorting through threads and organizing them. I have seen this forum grow so much since you started it and this is the forum I value the most.

The “Resources” tab on the bottom toolbar of the mobile site is a nice touch. I just noticed this for the first time.

Dave and Feinwerk,

in response to your VERY GOOD threads — very appropriate to the RESOURCE sub-forum — I had suggested in Feinwerk's thread a few days ago that there be a cleansing from cluttering threads of people asking questions and posting shallow, non-substantial content — instead of doing what you guys (and some others) have been doing so well: providing valuable RESOURCES.

➠ I think it shows how Michael is attentive to users and is always trying to improve things — because in my experience the RESOURCE sub-forum has so far not been a pleasant place to go browsing to find helpful stuff (too much irrelevant clutter).

I'm just a regular member here, no special insider contacts — but I cannot imagine that your valuable threads would not reappear very soon when the process is concluded.

🔶Thanks again how you have been exemplary in how threads in a RESOURCE sub-forum should look like.

3x 👍🏼👍🏼👍🏼 for you and the others who have been doing similar quality work!! 😊
