What have you done with your airgun today?

Don't confuse talent with excessive time and resources...

I have a habit of over doing things, and always enjoy making what i can.

Working on a couple more sets, walnut, and some old growth doug fir.

To add to the thread, I put a scope on my new Marauder pistol last night. Dipping toes into the PCP's. (alright, I'll admit im already waist deep)

Welcome to the addition! PRod is a fun project gun, also look into 1720T and/or 1701P they are a lot of fun and share a lot of parts with the PRod.

In the works of converting my hatsan hecules Bully in 30 cal to the FX liner system. A full write up will follow-

Had to have a new TP and barrel adapter made to accept the FX barrel and liner. I will be using a 600mm slug A liner on this conversion. I have a feeling with all the other modifications I’ve made to make the gun more accurate, this is the final step, as we all know how well these liners perform.

For some reason I got the wild idea of throwing the dog food cans up into the air to try to hit them mid flight with my 6fpe Steyr. That didn't go well. Even after a half hour of it I would only get 1 out of 5 on average 😌

A couple things I learned. #1 is I need a repeater that holds a bunch of ammo so I don't have to reload mags every 5 rounds as well as go pick up the 5 cans, which breaks any cadence and greatly lengthens the learning curve. #2 is I need a whole box of cans and someone to throw them for me. It's basically learning where to aim as the can falls at each angle the can is thrown.

I currently don't have the ideal gun right now but I'll keep my eyes open for one.

Merry Christmas to all!

I do that with my CO2 Umerex 1911. I'm not very good at it but it's a lot of fun. I aim just under the can as it's falling.

Merry Christmas every body.

Aerosol bedliner paint works best on wood though 😝

Only a day old yet it is now very hard, but I did put in the compartment where it houses my heater in the laundry room 🤓

In a week or two I will sand it a bit and give it one final blast of the paint, then coat it with matte clear coat 😝

NICE! I have a problem with commitment so.......I might try different plastidip colors, they are getting more and more colors which is awesome!

I shot my PP700 carbine a bunch today and at 800 fps the crosman hollowpoint seems to be not bothered much by the gusting wind and really quite accurate out of that 16 inch barrel at 34 yards. If I do my part it is pellet on pellet or same hole at 34 yards, really happy with that. Because of it's compact form and small stock it's not easy to get my eye in the same position every time consistently like my 1720T with an AR stock which is just super consistent. Also shot the PP700 pistol with the red dot and grouping pretty well off hand so really happy about that too. Who knew cheap air guns can make me so happy! My poor impact is still patiently waiting in the case. Hahahaha

Now that it is dry the finish looks so much better as when it was still wet

It had globules but they have sunk down.

I am pretty impressed with my work, so far 😁

I did boil some water, immersed the aerosol can, shook it crazy like I would "pleasure" myself, lol (!), then stormed the stock with a heat gun.

After every coat I would send strokes of hot hair to it.

Oh, it does not smell like petroleum, too, because it is water-based.

Yes, I am partial to carbines myself 😁
