Sheridan What is a Sheridan? Really

A fellow collector has an amazing collection of vintage Sheridan's & Benjamin's and are as mint as they come. He mentioned this product and I've used it ever since with great results. Simply wipe it on, let it sit for an hour or so, and buff it out.

Back in the 1970’s I used a product called “Finish Feeder”. Lemon oil and beeswax. Worked miracles on antiques. This product looks similar. I just ordered a bottle. Thank you.

They were mighty fine American rifles. I had a Blue streak from the late 70's and a Silver streak I bought at the plant in Racine in the early 90's.
Both had Williams peep sights. I got very good with those rifles. Dropped running rabbits more than once.

Unfortunately, I bought into the Beeman "fine German craftsmanship" spiel and never admitted to myself that the Sheridan's were far more effective in my hands than the jolty Deutsch springers. Yes, the arrogance and stupidity of youth.

The Sheridan's worked flawlessly, and were very effective for their purpose of pesting, hunting, and targeting. They were all I ever really needed in an airgun.
Foolishly, sold them both in the early 2000's.
