What is extra tank for PCP called?

Hello, I'm still bit new to PCP and I don't know the terminology and what type of products exist.

When I go out on hikes, I want to take my Kral NP03 in my backpack, with stock detached, silencer, pellets, etc.. But the hand pump is a bit long and I am hoping there is a some sort of a mini-scuba type of tank that I can refill the gun, but I want it as small as possible, just to fill the air from 100 BAR to 200 BAR, once.

Is there a product like this? And what are some inexpensive options. Also, would it be possible to re-fill that small tank with a hand pump?

Maybe search the forum for "Guppy" tank which I think is joeb's brand but used a bit to describe smaller tanks.

The 90 cu inch, carbon fiber paintball tanks are good for a couple or 3 fills (depending on gun reservoir & to what pressure it's filled). Easily packable.

Another option I can advise you to visit some paintball/airsoft gear shop and ask for a tethering kit.

Tank is what is used to fill your Airgun.
Bottle/Buddy bottle is what is attached to your Airgun.

There is a wide variety of sizes and prices — though the prices are usually high, even for the smallest of bottles.
And even used bottles don't go down much in price.


Recently, I have been considering to buy a cheap bottle from AliExpress or similar outfit, and a cheap valve and hose to fill the gun. For the same purpose that you described.


When choosing a bottle, you have aluminum and carbon fiber (CF) as options. Aluminum is usually cheaper, heavier, and often can be filled only up to max. 250bar. CF bottles are lighter, more expensive, and can be filled to 300bar.

Might be your best bet.

I have a 74 in^3 carbon bottle weighs like 5 lbs can easily fit it in a back pack but would be bigger then what you are looking for, pyramid air has a good selection of bottles though
