What is the best air gun show to go to?

I’m considering trying to make one of the larger gun shows to look at airguns. Is shot show one of the best? I’m want to mainly look at edgun r5m and Vulcan 2, but why not go to a show and look at them all. I hate not getting to handle something before I buy it. I’m pretty stuck on an edgun or Vulcan2 but you never know which one you want till you handle them. I’m from southern Illinois so there isn’t much around here.

Unfortunately only industry folks are allowed at Shot Show. I am perhaps a bit biased, but the Midwest Airgun Show in Columbus, Ohio is one of the top shows around and not horribly far for you to travel to.

In regards to seeing and trying an Edgun or Vulcan it might be a little tough unless one of their dealers is present. Call up a dealer and encourage them to attend! I’m sure you aren’t the only one interested in trying these Airguns. With a demo range available and a field target shoot you can have an entire weekend of fun!

Well crappers! I didn’t know shot show was not public. My wife is a veteran but that wouldn’t help either. And the bad part is I cannot find a dealer that caries both guns. Or two that are even close to each other. Sounds like the Midwest air gun show would be my go to. I would just have to keep the wife away from the redwolf(she wants one). It would also be good to see Dennis baker again, he is very knowledgeable and friendly.

You can also post asking if anyone near you has those particular rifles. Guys are pretty friendly on here about letting others drool over their guns

I would order one the next day if I really like it. Most guys near me have a marauder or air force. So a 5hour or so drive wouldn’t bother me to see both guns.

Crank, Dennis isn't to fond of Vulcans, but he sure likes FX. When I was there a month or so back I asked him a question about a Vulcan and I could tell when he answered he didn't care for them. Maybe because he loves FX??? My Vulcan2 in 25 shoots awesome.

Yeah he is a Daystate, Fx and steyer guy. I probably don’t plan on another fx...just personal preference. I would go Daystate , edgun or Vulcan. I wish there was more shows and dealers in my area. Even if it was 4-5 hours away.

Cranky, On your way to Columbus, you may want to try a place called Indiana Airguns. Not too far out of the way. Just North of Anderson. 

I know nothing about them, but have looked at their website a time or two. Just looks like a place that has some selection and not quite as far for you.

I think the wife likes the edgun after watching some videos of Ed showing them. Plus built in silencer(so I could legally squirrel hunt) and EDgun West has a baffle so I could install my sumo for paper punching. She likes quiet.
