So what’s the difference in these 2 pellets other than size and can I shoot .257 pellets out of my .25 cal avenger? Thanks in advance.

Your avenger is .250 size . . 257 is larger diameter and won't fit . most airgun in .257 cal have more power to drive heavy slugs example 70 grain and 85 grain. Hope this helps. NSA makes slugs in .250 as well.as.others.
