That's what I was doing when I snapped that pic.
They chewed into the corner of the shop/garage roof and got into the little passageway under the eaves, and then into the attic space, and so on. A perfect shot 45 yards from my living room window. Took 3 that morning, all red squirrels. The 48 in .177 shoots flat, and has the power and accuracy for humane kills out to 60 yards or so.
