What is the longest distance you have shot your airgun accurately?

125 Yards with a Mk1 Wildcat … temp 26 F … winds way too strong for me!!!

I think acccurately would also mean consistently. I can sometimes, consistently shooting near MOA at 80 yards. Haha

Shooter 1721, I’ve seen you shoot and your amazing. I think this leads me to ask you, give us some tips and any regiment you go through while shooting. I don’t want to high jack your topic so maybe we can start another thread on the subject. I think it would be worth while.

I think maybe accuracy should be better defined. For me, it’s what is the maximum distance you can hit your squirrel or bird on the first try, and be accurate enough for a humane kill shot. It’s not some way out there shot where you got a piece of it after 3 or 4 shots. So for me, I’d say about 125 yards with an air rifle. Have I hit ground squirrels further than that? Yep, had two right at 200 yards last year with the .30 FX Bobcat Mk2. But I knew they were lucky shots... IMHO, anything further out than 125 yards invloves increased degrees of luck. Now if you’re shooting pie plates at 175 yards, then of course that’s different. I’m talking the small kill zone on a ground squirrel.
