What is the quietest silencer you have?

What is the quietest silencer you have and on what gun?
Answers that you get will be basically useless to you.

Depends on -
1 - Pellet / slug speed, (fps) .
2 - Barrel length.
3 - Pellet / slug diameter (caliber).
4 - The particular guns design that releases the air.
5 - The particular guns transfer port square inches.

And probably more that doesn't come to mind right now.

I have taken one design muffler that's fairly quiet on one rifle, put it on another rifle, and have it be almost uncomfortably loud !!
Go figure that one.

Mike

Niel Clague were my most quiet "off the shelf" units, followed up by HW mods and Kral Puncher mods.

I currently have a Kral mod on my 20 fpe 22 Rodpup and it's about the quietest compact I've ever heard.

This really is the most accurate answer. It's VERY application dependent.

I have a Hugget on my Wolverine .303. Very quiet, the hammer makes more noise hitting the valve than the actual shot.
Agreed,
It's been my ears experience the hammer spring and vale are somewhat different w/ each gun, and the tune that it may have goin on. To the question the Sumo on my Cayden .22, and the Ronin on the Texan .457.
