.177 my favorite. 8.4 and 10.5 have a nice flat trajectory and I use them for Field Target. 13.4 for hunting, the wound channel is the same as .22 but penetration is better. All documented by video for empirical evidence. No need to hunt with anything bigger than .177.

Agree with this. Seems that pellets available today in .177 should do pretty much anything needed for an air gun.

Two absolutist statements, so according to you two .177 covers all the bases...? We all know the .22 offers more options. I personally won’t hunt with a .177, c

Absolutist? I did state seems, and it is what I believe. Contrast that with "we all know the .22 offers more options". As to your last two lines, only you know about that.
