What is your favorite? Here is mine:
I have found that about per sheet I get about 12 rifles cleaned. There are five sheets per bag so that is 60 cleanings. I have never had rust since using this brand, ever. Have a better oil/lube? Post it.

When I want a high degree of rust prevention, I also like using Frog Lube. It is one of the top performers in this independent study

I come from the PB world and I have seen several tests/reviews that did head to head comparisons of rust preventative formulas versus salt air environments. At the time Eezox and Ballistol were the top two products.

I couldn't find the initial test I read but I did find a similar test by another individual where Eezox, Balistol and Lehigh Valley placed at the top. I'm not sure what this forum's policy is on linking threads to stuff dealing with PB content, but if you paste the keywords below into duckduckgo it will return some sites:

ballistol eezox salt water rust

One of the first queries on DuckDuck will be the sassnet forum. One of the first posts in the thread has a link to a muzzle loading forum with the rust preventative test.

I have used Eezox for years and I use it on any metal that rusts easily like vice jaws, tools, etc. Eezox and Ballistol have both worked well for me when used as a CLP (Ballistol seems to edge out Eezox in the lubricant department). The only thing I don't know is whether there is anything in Eezox that would cause any issues with rubber o-rings. From what I have read on this forum and others is that Ballistol seems to be generally approved and safe with air guns and o-rings. Take care.

Thanks for posting that link. It gives some datapoints as to my concern around the safety of Eezox on rubber & plastic with the styrene test. I was surprised to see how badly Ballistol did during the corrosion test. I want to find the other test to see if there were any differences in the variables between the two evaluations.

Thanks for posting this. I too did a test with a few of the competitors, using some steel from a construction job site, and the Frog Lube worked better than the others like Ballistol. I believe I used 4 that I had on hand but can't remember the other two (I believe generic brands). Since using the Frog Lube I haven't had any rust, whereas prior to it my rust prevention maintenance was about 5 times more.

What I like about the bio made Frog Lube, especially for airguns, is the ability for it to be used on plastics. The quick wipe down with a 60/40 Poly/Cotton shirt gets off the residue fibers from the Frog Lube sheet and makes a nice picture perfect shine on the metal. Another thing that I like about it is that it smells so nice.

PS I went ahead and linked that in the video. I am not sponsored by the product or anything but just really believe in it.

Here is what I found: https://www.accurateshooter.com/technical-articles/corrosion-protection-products/
I have used Eezox faithfully on my guns, knives, my truck, my snowblower or any other metal device subjected to the elements and rust prone.
