What's everyone's favorite knockdown targets. Like the crow hog or rat targets that go down when you hit them. Some reset when you hit the second bull's-eye.

I have not been able to shoot at much of any other kind of target, other than paper and clays (attached to a cardboard backer). I have shot at plastic bottles and such, but I have been working on shooting groups...I seem to be having a little issues on the proper hold of my Springers. I have spent my whole life shooting firearms as a child, the Marines, and the three decades since, that when my training is applied, it does not work so well with air rifles! Lol

I like the resettable ones like you mentioned where you shoot the KZ out then shoot the low paddle to reset it BUT, I really like these steel eggs that I bought a couple years back. They are approximately 2.25" high and 1.5" wide shaped just like a chicken egg and each one has its own base welded to it so it stands on its own. It's a hassle to set and reset them up once shot over but I absolutely love the sound of the pellet hitting them and watching them jump! I set them up on a 4x4 laying on its side in the grass and stand them on that. I also like to push golf tees in the ground in front of the 4x4 and put a paintball on each one. I got the 4x4s out of a fencing company's "free wood" pile so no expense or worry about shooting up good wood. I will refresh the paint on the eggs once or twice a year by first, spraying them white then spray them with fluorescent orange. It makes them easy to see with any type of sights and easy to find in the lawn/grass. The ones I have are 1/4" thick steel. I asked if they could use 1/4" and it was no problem.

I like knockdown, steel targets. My favorite ones are a set of ⅕ scale metallic silhouettes I bought in the 1980s. They are a standard of accuracy for .22 rimfire and airguns. Our local airgun club shoots the speed shoot from Extreme Benchrest. Second favorite are field targets. The reset cord makes them an elegant system for putting on a steel shooting match,

Those are some cool targets john, i wish the hole's on the knockdown targets were more in a vital area. they seem to have good detail on the pictures. I do love buying made in the usa products. i will have to buy one of them in the future and do a review on them.

I've got a couple of the Remington knockdown targets and they work well. They are also the cheapest I've found and are available on Amazon.

mine's been shot by many thousands of rounds. You can't kill the thing! A bit of white paint on the face plate every once in a while, and you're good as new.
i had a buddy that does metal work make three additional face plates with 1/2, 3/4, and 1 inch openings as well, and I replaced the reset pull cord with a carpenters string chalk box (minus the chalk of course). That was a nice addition-- now I can easily wind up the string for storage.
it says it's made for 10 meter air rifle but I like to shoot it at 25 meters. With the 1/2" hole face face plate on, it's a challenging shot!

My favorite field target is a blue jay made by target art. It is painted beautifully and I am not willing to shoot it. It sits in my living room as an art display.
My favorite target to shoot at is a Gamo Target with a custom Dragon replacement face plate made by Quality Targets.
I always shoot this target at 55 yards with my LGU.

John, do these holdup for 22LR use? I destroyed my spinners today that were supposedly rated for 22 rimfire use......The spoons now look like those old tinfoil helium balloons....

I love Steel Plinkers quadrant targets. I have two of those. One with 1/2" kz and the other with 3/4" kz. Also have several of his reset targets.
My buddy Paul AKA Strikefast also makes some killer targets.
My favorite right now is this Gong Target he made for me.
I also enjoy shooting ice cubes ;-)

Those quadrant targets look great. Good for FT practice. Ben (the owner) can make the kill zones in official FT sizes so you're practicing with the actual KZ's you would find in a match. I'm getting on next month.

Here are two of my favorite targets that I make.The Egret is the face plate before I added the kill zone. I mount them near the middle so they are easy to pull back up. The Egret is 28" tall and the Fox is 18" tall... Heavy, with a spring trigger system, not the typical paddele

Marine, Yes I do... This is the one I made and donated to our field target club here in NC the Tar Heel Air Gun Club.(THAGC) It was all white for a European style match we put on. They use solid color targets over there. It is 11" tall a bit bigger then than the normal Gamo targets. i can make it realistically painted too.
I can make it in any size desired. Keep in mind the larger it is the more shipping becomes due to wgt. Especially to the west coast...
