What is your most accurate low speed shooter?

I'm wanting to know what's your best low speed fps with what gun and ammo combination? It doesn't matter if its a high-end or low-end pcp! I'm interested to know what your working with.? Please share

I'm thinking about a low power high shot count impact compact 25 around 800-825fps shooting predator polymags for no more then 60yards

I got a bargain gun that I would not normally buy. I love it. It's a CO2 Crosman Challenger. It has been replaced by PCP.

Anyhow, one powerlet yields 80 nice accurate shots. The stock can easy be adjusted to your body. It is my most accurate affordable rifle in my collection.

Rear and Front sight are real nice. It's designed for 10 meter and youth group/team competitions.

I really like my Concept Lite (bolt action, never tried XR) -- doing 14.3gr out to 55 yards and can dial it down between 600 FPS (which sounds so anemic out of the muzzle with the DonnyFL Ronin on it makes me wince, lol). I'm shooting them out the muzzle at about 845 FPS.

Really think the CPDs tend to prefer the slower speeds ... 830 - 880 FPS would be the sweet spot if my theory is correct based on observation.

Low speed for me is 500 - 650fps for stuff inside of 30 yards. For 60 yards, I prefer to stick with something in the 850 - 925fps range where wind drift is optimal.

But generally a good barrel is a good barrel so if an Impact is where you find trusted accuracy, go with it.

I have the compact already im just contemplating on a low speed with best accuracy. Right now I'm seeing 825-830 to be a nice start.

Wow 600 fps I bet you think its broken when you pull the trigger with that Ronin! Is that 55yds with the 600fps setting? If so that's a winner for sure!

600 FPS is a huge drop at 55 yards. With the 14.3gr CPDs my turrent click is a '4' for POA at ~845 FPS. With 600 FPS my POA is a '7' click.

To put it like this -- 600 FPS @ 55 yards is my POA for 845 FPS @ 75 yards with 14.3 CPDs

The "tink" sound on my spinners at 600 FPS @ 55 yards sounds like someone hit it with an airsoft gun and the spinner barely deflects. 845 FPS at 55 yards and the spinner does multiple rotations for the smaller one up top and will at least do a full rotation for the larger ones.

.177 12fpe HW110ST - short, super quiet and like 120 shots per fill. I just tried the Hades for the first time on Sunday - most accurate pellet I've tried - single pellet size hole at 25 yds. Need to try them on the Chipmonks to see how the pellet performs on a reactive target.

My most accurate slow poke is a gun I built for my mom. It started as a PP800 Altaros regulated pistol. I built a 1” longer LW barrel, put it in a Marlin youth stock, bedded it, built a new trigger system and dialed it in at 650fps with JSB 7.3’s. I have a 6x scope on it and can hit 1” spinners at 50yrds all day with it. It’s so quiet I could shoot it in a public restroom and not attract any attention. My mom and dad shoot out on their patio and she pops starlings off the wires between 35-60yrds while the neighbors are in the pool none the wiser. My pa

My .25 brocock bantam sniper. I can dial it down to 400fps with the light weight h&n and is very very accurate. I shoot rats off my porch at like 10-15 yards. Tons of fun

177 vintage FWB300s shooting old Crosman Copperhead 7.9gr pointed pellets bird kills out to 65 yards old Bushnell 4-12xAO with Stadia reticle. Roughly 650-660fps for roughly 7.5fpe. Nominal shots between 5 to 55 yards. Dead on the spot with superior low velocity kill power compared to my higher powered 177s.

My custom Chinese QB-79 which has a take-off LW .177 barrel. set up at >12fpe it shoots Crosman lites @ 780 fps with stellar accuracy. 1/2" at 50 yards in no wind is common.

Regulated, SSG & light hammer equipped it is a shooter !! Total cost under $200 w/o optics

+1 for one of the best reasons to customize a gun. Vetmx, I’m guessing your mom was one of the cool mom’s. I wish my mom was into popping starlings with a pellet gun

800 FPS for an 8.4 pellet is right at 12 FPE. There are tons of guns so specifically designed for your application that an entire sport has been developed exactly to fit your needs. I would be looking for ANY good used field target rig!

Bobcat .25 Mk2 low power=650 fps with JSB .25's. One hole groups with this gun are routine on low or high power, it's very quiet and tons of shots at this speed!
