I enjoy looking at a quality air gun and knowing what a fine air gun I have and how Luckey I am to have it.

Shooting paper at 50 yards and watching a pellet through the scope, travel through the air and to the target and watching it disappear exactly into the previous pellets hole. There’s something sublime about watching that. It’s like a feeling of nirvana.

the thwap or gong of .22 hitting target, and on occasion the deeper thwap of .22 hitting dinner followed by the thud of it falling from the tree.

Definitely the sound of the pellet connecting with the target. The clang of hitting a steel silhouette, and the thwack of connecting with a 1 gallon milk jug full of gravel at 100yds are the best for me.
