What Paper Target Did You Shoot Today

Thomas, great card! I hope you get back power soon!
Hello @Ranchibi

Randall this has been quite a strange 8 days for me. Severe weather all but 1 day and have had the power knocked out 4 times. Outage first time 16-hours, second time 9-hours, third time 12-hours, and this time 15-hours. Good thing that I have a portable 7500 watt generator so I could keep the refrigerators up and working. I designed and built a big battery back up system for my computer room several years ago so did not have to worry about any of that equipment getting damaged and was able to get on the internet as needed. This old man is absolutely wore out.

Dang! That is a lot of outages Thomas! A friend of mine lives in the mountains and he also has a back up generator that kicks in immediately if there is an outage. I live in a big city and we have outages rarely but I would rather live in a rural area and have more space/quiet and outages! I hope the weather cooperates soon....🙏

Hello everyone,

I have had 3 mags loaded with JTS on the bench for over a week so I decided to shoot them up today. The first 21 targets shot with the JTS and I finished off with the AEA Center Punch 18.3gr. The JTS were all over the place but the AEA were spot on.

Range: Outdoor 25-Yards
Rifle: Brocock Sniper XR .22 caliber
Scope: Athlon Argos BTR Gen2 10-40x56
Pellets: JTS 18.1gr and AEA Center Punch 18.3gr
FPS:
FPE:
Wind: 10 to 15 mph

Thomas, those AEA pels are very accurate compared to the JTS thru that barrel, nice shooting!
Hello @Ranchibi

They sure are and match up shot for shot with the JSB. I need to get a no wind day and shoot 4 each 25-Yard MOA paper targets with the JSB and the AEA to try and find out if one is actually better.

Hello everyone,

This was going to be my warm up target but with this much wind I just decided to shoot one card. At times my 25-yard flag would bet parallel to the left and my 10-meter flag would be parallel to the right and then they would switch. More severe weather headed to my area so I will give up for the day.

Range: Outdoor 25-Yards
Rifle: Brocock Sniper XR .22 caliber
Scope: Athlon Argos BTR Gen2 10-40x56
Pellets: AEA Center Punch 18.3gr
FPS:
FPE:
Wind: 15 to 25 mph

Yesterdays target. I shot it upside down because I didn't feel like walking down and turning it. The wide shots are stumping me. I sorted pellets by weight today to see if that improves things. It will spit off a bunch of great shots, then go wild. I did run a full tank chrony run today and got a few low readings which is strange.

I felt I did everything right on #6 and #7 and had some way off pellets.

Range: Outdoor 25 yards.
Rifle: Air Arms S200
Scope: Sightron 24x
Pellets: JSB Monster 13.43 gr
FPS: 660
FPE: 13
Wind: UNK

Hello @Florida_Man

Boy those fliers can be frustrating. You shot a good card other than the fliers. The low power readings could be the problem, if for what ever reason the regulator is not working correctly. Do you have another brand of pellet that you can try and see if it's the JSB problem.

I will give that a go. This was my stash 4 months ago, I have added a few to my variety since. haha
I'm about to do an order so I will pick up some more H&N.

Our pellet stash look much the same, i have just added 10.X grain Crossman domed and JTS deadcenters to the collection.
Dont shoot much pellets though.
Slug collection more substantial, and i have everything in .177 / 4.5 mm from the 3 major brands Zan - NSA and H&N

Hello everyone,

Way too many projects including mowing the yard which kept me off my range and shooting a stack of paper targets. However I did shoot this one target and used the AEA pellets again.

Scope: Athlon Argos BTR Gen2 10-40x56
Pellets: AEA Center Punch 18.3gr

That's a SWEET card Thomas
I am going to switch to AEA over JSB
They have the consistency that JSB had in the past but are painfullty lagging in the present
That a super nice pellet/rifle combination!
Awesome Shooting!
Mike
p.s. I still can't get over how clean that patch was :ROFLMAO:

Hello @Ranchibi

With all these storms and heavy rains ( we are almost 20-inches over for this period of the year ) I was forced to take the one day without rain and mow. I am pretty sure I saw a Rhino hiding in the front yard this morning :ROFLMAO: .

Hello @manabeknives

Mike I only have maybe 15 to 20 pellets left in this AEA Tin and I will pull a swab down the barrel when all 250 pellets are shot. I will post a photo here of the patch to compare.
