What Paper Target Did You Shoot Today

Hi guys
I finally finished with all the barrel treatments i saw in another forum and hit the range
At fist, i was testing out some Grands and Beasts in my Epoch, but i was not loving the results..lots of spiraling
I switched to the AEA 25.3g and saw a huge improvement.
i was able to see the pellets drop down to the target in a repeatble fashion
i felt good about what i was seeing and shot a card
#2 had 2 holes in it from spriraling pellets while testing the Beasts
Very happy with the results

Oh YEAH Mike! Skout + AEA pellets = NIRVANA @ 50! Excellent card thinking/shooting! 🤗

Hello everyone,

OK I just finished off a Tin of 250 AEA pellets down the Barrel of my BRK Sniper XR .22 cal. I pulled just one patch through the bore and here are two photos showing what small amount of residue was in the bore. I pulled a second patch with some Ballistol and it came out clean.

Mike @manabeknives hope this will help you in some way.

Hot hot hot and a little breezy, but I had an opportunity to shoot. I'm still on the hunt for a 250.

Range: Outdoor 25 yards.
Rifle: Air Arms S200
Scope: Sightron 24x
Pellets: JSB Monster 13.43 gr and Crosman Premier 10.5 brown box
FPS: 660 and 710
FPE: 13
Wind: WSW 8-13MPH

It was after the shooting window, but I received a stock on new pellets to try

I shot the S200 and opened a box from pyramid.

Those crosman's did really well in your rifle!
is that the rife that has the CZ barrel?
Doesn't seem to be pellet picky..WIN!!
The 250 is within your reach!

Hello @Florida_Man

That is some good shooting, but with that load of new ammo you will be busy for a while.

Hello everyone,

I really enjoy shooting this paper target, it does make me think about each shot just a bit longer. As a result I think I shoot it better.

Scope: Athlon Argos BTR Gen2 10-40x56
Pellets: AEA Center Punch 18.3gr

Excellent card Thomas
The red color helps me to line up on the x-hairs.
Sometimes, if my eyes are tired, i won't notice the difference on a black colored lines if i am slightly above or below it.

30y
Wind 13mph gust to 25 at my back slightly left to right
Taipan vet std .177
Delta stryker 3.5-21x44
JTS 10.4 , 775 fps , ES 5

10 shots at 3mm dots , this would be a little bit raggedy group but I'll call it 10 straight hits.

This wind was 13mph and gusty more like gushing back and forth but mostly quartering away from left to right which seems to be the easiest wind direction for me to stay on target I have much more difficulty staying on target when the wind is right to left or right to left away. Is there any reason for this or is it just in my head.

What is the most difficult wind direction for you to deal with?
