What Paper Target Did You Shoot Today

Thomas, nice card with the Reximex! Those squirrels are in a heap of trouble!
Hello @Ranchibi

Thank you sir, I am enjoying this little Carbine. I try to do a head shot on the Squirrels and out of the seven shots on this card, I feel only one would have missed and that is number 3. However seeing a Squirrel in the DOT Scope will be a whole lot easier than those small 10-Rings. With the DOT Scope lets just say I am giving them a fair chance ...... or maybe not :ROFLMAO: :ROFLMAO: :ROFLMAO:

Thomas, I use a Prod to snipe rats in my back yard at night and it does it's job with aplomb....I have been eyeballing a Notos and now this Reximex...I really don't need to spend money on another PCP as I have other hobbies too....but...😂👍

Hello everyone,

I reinstalled the UTG Bug Buster Scope on the Reximex and zeroed it at 10-Meters. I stepped off 25-paces in my front yard where I see Squirrels a lot and set out this target tapped to a cardboard box. Shot one magazine, 7-shots , and as you can see, it is shooting a bit high I was aiming at the red dot. I will now re-zero the Scope for this distance.

Range: Outdoor 25-Paces
Rifle: Reximex RPA .22 caliber
Scope: UTG Bug Buster 3-9 x 32
Pellets: JSB Jumbo Heavy 18.13gr
FPS: ?
FPE: ?
Wind: 5 to 10 mph

After seeing the last squirrel, i can understand why you use chunky squirrel targets :ROFLMAO:

Hello everyone,

I shot this target to re-zero the Scope and then just for grins I shot a second time at the Numbers below the 10-Ring but using RWS Professional Line 14.0gr Wadcutter pellets. I circled the Wadcutter POI in Blue. The wadcutter not as accurate but not too bad either.

Range: Outdoor 25-Paces
Rifle: Reximex RPA .22 caliber
Scope: UTG Bug Buster 3-9 x 32
Pellets: JSB Jumbo Heavy 18.13gr & RWS Professional Line 14.0gr Wadcutter

Thomas, when I first got into airguns it was because of rats, I purchased an RWS Meisterschutz in .177 and used wadcutters to smack them, it was like a small frying pan going thru them! 😂👍 Worked as well as .22 domes!
Hello @Ranchibi

Funny but true, the wadcutters do "remove" quite a bit of material, but it is a nice round hole :ROFLMAO:

Do not eat paper Squirrels !

Hello everyone,

No target shooting with the Reximex today, seems it has a serious defect with the "filling system". I have damaged two O-rings on the Fill Probe and I have only refilled the cylinder 5 times  .

Huma-Air is NOT responding to my email for help . After two days of trying to contact the service team at Huma-Air I have given up and I will add Huma-Air to my "Black List" of vendors.

Thanks,
ThomasT

Does any body happen to have a few extra Metric Buna 90 O-rings 2.5 x 1.5 that I can buy. I only need a few to test with.

Thanks,
ThomasT
I think the manufactures should come up with a better seal than using O rings .

Hello @beerthief

They all should use a Foster Fitting, clean, simple, and it works.

ThomasT
I do not like probes for filling!!
If the rifle has one, i will look elsewhere.
Lost probes...multiple o-rings.. it's another headache i'd rather avoid
I hope your problem is rectified properly and quickly
Mike

That's important to keep the foster in a convenient, accessible location...i don't appreciate the one's where you need an extended foster fitting to reach
in the picture the fill port is next to the gage and does not stick out any more that the gage
