What Paper Target Did You Shoot Today

View attachment 47292610 shot group alternating between pellets and slugs this morning, the miss is a pellet I of course pulled, RAW HM1000x .22, 20yds.
That's awesome and head-scratching at the same time!!
That's amazing that you can switch like that...I get a shotgun pattern instead of 2 holes
What an Awesome tune you have on your RAW!!
and thanks for the nice things you said on the knifemaker thread

Hello @manabeknives

Mike I agree with you, it is hard for me to shoot a one-hole group using only one specific pellet. If I switched ammo in the middle of a card, there would be holes all over the place. However Randall does this quite well.

You both are TOO KIND! My RAW is the one who does this well....me not so much!

Was shooting this morning and was shooting good when a large horsefly landed on my target....an NSA fly vaporizer was at hand so I loaded one, peered thru my scope and saw it was taking a nap so I sent the pill on it's way via my RAW slinging these NSA 17.5gr @ 950-ish.....this is

the result....🥳

Hi guys,
Got a little range time in before a black-out caused by a small brush fire ended the session.
I was only able to shoot 1 card at 50 yards with my Epoch/AEA pellets and it was just mediocre.
Somehow, i missed a target #10 ...i thought the smudge on the target was a pellet hole ...ugh
#4 and 5 got away from me ..bad judgement on my part.
226 out of 245. Or is it 221 out of 250? Either way, I know I can do better.

Hope i get the time to head back tomorrow

Mike, not too shabby! Each shooting day is different whether it's wind, brain or other.....😂👍.....once in awhile the stars align! 🤗

Totally agree, I just hope there aren't any fires tomorrow
I had several rifles in the car and was going for a marathon session
The epoch with AEA, the RAW with both the shallows and the AEA's, and the RTI with 18.1g JSB's.
Kinda disappointing when packing the car takes longer than your shooting session 😜
hopefully, i can try the pellet/slug swap ...but i don't think my results will come anywhere near yours!!..still a head scratcher:D

Mike, with that stable of fantastic PCP's, you will have no trouble switching between ammo! And, I do hope the fires relent so you can put some lead thru them! I know with slugs if my eye placement is just a hair off....my shot will be a clump of hair off...😂

Thanks Thomas,
But "close" is only good for horseshoes and hand grenades, not paper targets 😜 :ROFLMAO:
Another day, another chance to do better;)
I have plenty of time to practice before EBR. I hope to be there.
Thanks for the kind words and support

Been working HARD on my sight picture and hold and found things today that made it easier to get more consistent accuracy for me at least which isn't saying much...😂👍...it is fun though! Big group on the left was my adjustment group, the group on the right is 4 shots, 2 pellets and 2 slugs that I also adjusted for elevation.

Hello @Ranchibi

Nice shooting but I don't see any blood and guts, ..... did you miss the little dude

Hello everyone,

No target shooting with the Reximex today, seems it has a serious defect with the "filling system". I have damaged two O-rings on the Fill Probe and I have only refilled the cylinder 5 times  .

Huma-Air is NOT responding to my email for help . After two days of trying to contact the service team at Huma-Air I have given up and I will add Huma-Air to my "Black List" of vendors.

Thanks,
ThomasT
Hello everyone,

After 4 or 5 days that Huma-Air ignored all of my email request for help and tech support, I posted some negative, but truthful comments about them.

Low-and-behold guess who sent me an email? You got it, the Huma-Air “tech support” and just WOW, they offered to send me some of those .04cent O-rings, and just to beat the band they would be the correct size.

Pitifully shameful and pathetic.

I guess a little prodding was needed.....🤔

I shot 7-12 5 JTS 10.4gr at each
14 is seasoning the barrel with 20 AA 10.3
25-30 is 5 AA 10.3gr at each

I didn't get out the calipers but it seems like the AA edged out the JTS.

This was my Avanti Valiant CZ200 Hunter.
These pellets are around 13 fpe
10m Indoor.
Athlon Talos 10x
Both pellets were shot after a 190 bar fill.

I agree @Florida_Man , it looks like the AA's have a little better percission over the JTS at that distance.
Curious to see how tight the dispersion is over distance.
Nice tests
