What Paper Target Did You Shoot Today

IMG_7698.jpeg

Well, yesterday was a no shooting day for me because I was supposed to go golfing with some friends about 2 hours away, but, I drive about an hour to a friends place then he drives from there. Well, when I got there his wife said there was a big accident on the fwy we were supposed to take, an 18 wheeler lost control and and took out several cars 🥺, fwy was closed almost 6 hours....yikes....so we tried a coastal route but even that was a no go because everyone else was going that way to avoid the fwy so we headed back and called it a day. So today, I was ready to snipe a fly and that I did, 3 pellets JSB 18gr and 3 slugs NSA 17.5gr finally sent this fly to fly heaven...👍...boy, SoCal flies are tough some%@&*....😂...RAW HMx .22 970fps, 20yds, just enough power to take said fly down!

Hello @Ranchibi

I'm still impressed how well your RAW will shoot back to back a pellet and a slug.

Hello everyone,

I readjusted the Regulator and upped FPS from the 300's to the 400's and the results were better . Accuracy past the first two Magazines ( 14 shots ) not good at all. Shot this paper target on one fill and I aimed every time at dead center so I could see exactly how far off the POI would be.

Range: Indoors at 15-Feet
Pistol: .22Cal Custom PP-800 R
Scope: UTG Bug Buster 3-9x32
Pellets: JSB Jumbo 15.89gr
FPS: 422 to 544
FPE:
Benchrest: Front support Bag & rear support Bag
Wind: 0 mph

The horizontal is very consistent!
Nice lil pistol Thomas
Looks like a fun indoor shooter:love:
Hello @manabeknives

I love this little pistol but getting a bit frustrated trying to "find" that right tune. I have spent all morning trying various settings and it is like trying to balance a bowling ball on a pencil 🤪

nice experiment , consistent results ! your getting there . whats the lightest .22 pellet you have or can get ?
Hello @beerthief

The lightest are 11.9gr which I have and shot. My base used the 15.89gr and to compare apples to apples I though I should stay with the 15.89gr. The variation between the 15.89 and the 11.9 are very close however.

C'mon ... We love finding that tune!!
The harder it is to nail down that specific setting ..the more satisfying it is when it all comes together😍
Find the Balance!!😁

That was a copy/paste and editing error on my part. It was just standing. My years of distance running have caught up with me, my right hip was binding up on me

Was able to hit the range today and did some practice at 100yards
Used Thomas's 100yrd targets.
Was kinda dark that the range, making it difficult to track the shots
Did single loading, 5 shots at each target using JTS 22.07g pellets around 970fps

Hello @manabeknives

OK Mike I really do not mind you shooting a lot of well placed holes in my targets, specially at 100 yards (y) (y) (y) .

A bit too early to tell for sure but I might finally have a good tune for the Custom PP-800R Pistol 😁 . I also shot this paper target using the JSB Jumbo 15.89 with good results. Now I will take some time to test several other pellet weights.

Hello everyone,

Just tested the new Pistol with three different pellets and they all shot good, but the JSB 13.43gr were really good.
