What Paper Target Did You Shoot Today

Running some numbers for a fellow member here, and just shooting inside.

Just 11 shots from around 9ish yards, so scope is blurry as all heck and can't really see an aiming point...lol

But the numbers look outstanding from the AAA Paradigm.

Nice shooting @ThomasT , I told you those Avengers are shooters!

I was not shooting for accuracy because I had a few tins of pellets that never shot well in any of my guns so I was just trying to burn it up rapid fire. Crosman copper magnum 14s, HN FTTP Copper and 14 grain Norma Wad Cutters, all shot at 50’ through my Vixen .22 Compact. The top row and a half was shot at 10M first then I moved back to 50’ for the remainder. It was cold and raining outside so it was merely some spur of the moment lead therapy.

Hello @igolfat8

Having fun and still shooting some pretty good groups.

@ThomasT did you ever try 16 AAs in your Avenger? Mine loves them.
Hello @igolfat8

I have not tried those and I just checked my inventory and do not have any, so will order some.
Tim, your gun is special it shoots better than most 2K guns.

Hello everyone,

OK I just received a new Diana Bandit .177 cal Pistol this week and shot this New Target this morning, Off-Hand and in the Standing position. This is going to be a lot of fun this Winter shooting these targets indoors and trying to improve my ability. My accuracy will not win an Olympic event but it puts a smile on my face and that is what counts  .

Copies of the pdf files for both targets are available at this link here on the Forum:

Range: 15 - Feet Indoors
Rifle: Diana Bandit .177 caliber
Scope: The Hawkeye Red Dot
Pellets: H&N Finale Match 8.18gr Wadcutter
FPS:
FPE:
Offhand Standing

Thomas! Congratulations on your new .177 Bandit! Wonderful offhand shooting! I am THE WORST offhand shooter EVER but am in awe of those that can do it 🤗!
Hello @Ranchibi

Randal then this is just the target for you and that is the reason I designed it that way. You are only the second worst Off-Hand shooter, I hold that honor :ROFLMAO: , but this target makes me look ( feel ) good. Print some out and give it a try.

Is that a pcp powered pistol @ThomasT ? How many shots per fill? As you can tell I know very little above sir pistols. Can you bench it too to give us an idea of its accuracy potential? That looks like a splendid way to spend your winter months. Is that one or two hands hold?
Hello @igolfat8 ,

Tim I have owned several of these both in .177 and .22 and they are pretty darn good shooters and yes, they are PCP ( 2,900 psi ). The one I just purchased I am getting four magazines of 9-shots per/mag. To my best memory I have never ever taken a gun out of the box and and started shooting it without at least wiping it down and oiling it up, BUT that is just what I did this time :( . Later I will clean and do a bit of tuning.

Shooting off a bench with a bag or Bi-pod they are very accurate out to 10-meters. I have shot them in .22 out to 25-yards but with a domed pellet. From 10-meters in to 10/15 feet with wadcutters, again very accurate but that is with a scope like a UTG Bug Buster. I will be shooting it from a bench and will post the results here.

I shot these two targets in the standing position, off-hand, using one hand.

There ya go! I see a friendly competition coming this winter. This style shooting is called National Match and typically shot at 50feet, but I say any distance is valid because we ain't Olympiads. Anything over 90 points on a single card is great. Anything over 275 for typical 3-card match is great. Let’s boogie! 🤪😂😅
