What Paper Target Did You Shoot Today

Hello everyone,

I wanted to re-shoot this same paper target that I shot yesterday after I made a few small adjustments to the Red-Dot scope. All my shots yesterday were a bit low so a slight adjustment brought the “Dot” up. This morning most POI’s are in the center, with a couple off by a bit and that is the fault of the shooter. The Blue Arrow denotes 2 POI’s in the same hole. As a side note: the last shot was with the Cylinder Pressure just a touch above the “Yellow” minimum PSI, not bad for an un-regulated Pistol ( total of 70 shots on this fill ) :D.

Range: 15 - Feet Indoors

Scope: The Hawkeye Red Dot
Pellets: H&N Finale Match 8.18gr Wadcutter

FPE: 4.1

I like that target @ThomasT and plan to shoot that target too as soon as my red dot mount arrives next week for my Bandit.
Hello @igolfat8

This is a real challenge using a Red Dot at 15-feet or more 😁 . A 2 MOA "Dot" does fit inside the 10-Ring at 15-feet if your scope have a variable power level. The scope that I am currently using has 5 different levels on both "red" and "green" Dots and I used the smallest "Dot" ( lower level ) in Green to shoot target #1.

OK, then, here is my entry for today. Bench rested HW44 177cal shooting Barracuda 9.57 pellets straight from tin. I'm shooting for one hole. Group sizes are in inches with MOA being .07” center to center.

This single bull card was shot last after three hand pumping sessions!

Hi Thomas, I’m going to use a 3 MOA Burris FF III. Why? Because I have one that’s not currently being used. 🤪 I’m used to using 8 MOA dots but that is on 8” plates at 50 feet. If it’s not useable then I can use a scope but I’d like to try my hand at off hand shooting first.
Hello @igolfat8

Tim the 3 MOA will work just as good as a 2 MOA.

Hello @rsfrid

Well Ross you need to sharpen that hole punch, it tore the paper a tiny bit on one hole 😁 😁 😁 .

I expected nothing less from you Sheriff, mighty fine shoot-n.

WTH ????? NRA Embracing Meters o_O
Hello @beerthief

You can thank your good buddy Jimmy Carter for that. You know some scientist tested a bunch of Space Rocks and found that the rocks had a higher IQ than Jimmy  🤪

Had some time to test some pellets in my Bandit at 10M this afternoon. My rest set up is not very stable so I am not putting a lot of confidence in the results until I can get a more stable bench set up with a bipod.

I was going to move back to 15M but instead shot these at 10M so the hand writing is incorrect.

You guys are tempting me to buy a pistol , but since i do not own one, went to the range with my Epoch and shot 2 cards @50 yards
Then i moved it out to 100yards and did a few targets..need to keep it inside the red ..but missed the mark on 3 shots.
the bullseye on the bottom left target is nearly impossible to see from the bench
The Epoch is performing very well

Mike! Fantastic 50 & 100yd cards! You and your Epoch are one with....THE FORCE! Woo Hoo!

Not shot anything for a week on Friday and having severe withdrawal symptoms, but come Friday evening i will take my frustrations out on little fat critters with long tails.

The rat smacker are ready for action.
That is IF:
The cut down barrel with the ghetto crown work.
Damn thing barely fit in the case.
