What Paper Target Did You Shoot Today

Tim, you're welcome! The best part about FFP scopes is the ability to change magnifications without changing POI and one can adjust the reticle to one's preferred size as well. I have mine set @ 6X. This reticle is nice. This scope punches well above it's asking price.
I would like to try a target dot reticle scope next , but finding one that focuses to 10 or 15 yards , i haven't found yet . Then there is price .

I bought a Muller 40 x 56 at a gun show ($50) but it only focuses down to 25 yards and i don't know if springer rated ? probably not .
Store sale tag on the box was $260.

I shot one on my TX200 for a while. It worked fine. I do not know that has a springer rating.

6 shots 75 yards with a HW95n right out of the box, with open sights, and several turns of the up knob prior to shooting. A really hard to see target in heavy variable winds.
That's a good first impression.

Hello @.20calguy

Love it when a new guns shoots good right out of the box. That normally means you can tune it down to real good :)

I LOVE these scopes. Focus’ down to 15Y. Also if you are a vet or first responder they offer nice discounts too.

Hello everyone,

Dusted off the Custom PP-800R and shot this target using the Crosman 14.3 pellets. Other than two fliers these pellets shot real good. As I loaded the magazines I did not see any pellet that looked bad, so a bit confused why there were two fliers  ?

Range: Indoors at 15-Feet
Pistol: .22Cal Custom PP-800 R Pistol/Carbine w/full Buck Rail AR Conversion
Scope: UTG Bug Buster 3-9x32
Pellets: Crosman Domed Ultra Magnum 14.3gr
FPS:
FPE:
Position: Bench w/ Front & Rear bags

A little "spray and pray" for this morning. This was third card - first two needed rezero for windage. This was the HW44 22cal freehand. Scoring error — should be 87!

Hello everyone,

Shot the Custom PP-800R again today using the Crosman 14.3 pellets and for what ever reason I keep getting a flier ? I shot several of these competition targets and everyone had at least one flier in the 9-ring. I looked at every pellet as I loaded the mag and they all looked the very same, it has me puzzled.

Thomas, have you tried weighing them to see if any are wildly outside weight claim on tins?

Hello @rsfrid

I have not weighted any of the Crosman so that could be the culprit. I will weigh 25 of them and see if any need to go to Weight Watchers :D . Then I will shoot them and see what happens.

Funny, these pellets look so much better than the JSB but I do not get any fliers with the JSB.

Obviously looks aren't everything. You have your pistol so tightly tuned that any variation might account for a flier.
