What Paper Target Did You Shoot Today

Doing a little bullseye shooting - not 20 yards as per the target scaling, but at 7 yards - my limit. This is with Baracuda FT 9.57 straight from tin.

Obviously looks aren't everything. You have your pistol so tightly tuned that any variation might account for a flier.
Hello again @rsfrid

Yep you are correct, look at this:

Hello @rsfrid

OK I weighted enough to get 25 pellets that were the same weight. I shot one as a sighter and the balance of 24 at the targets. This time I had two fliers ???

I will weight more until I get another exact 25 and shoot them in a new rifle that I just received as a comparison later on this afternoon.

Guess that's why I don't shoot Crossman. Keep in mind most airgun shooters are happy to just hit a soda can at 25 yards or the corner of a gong at 50/100 yards. Those fliers would have done the job with those shooters. As we move more and more to sub moa teeny distances, what is a flier to us isn't a flier to many other shooters. I can't stand it when a brand of pellets produces fliers of .1” and move on to another brand. I can't explain your fliers, but if that were my gun, I'd seek another brand. Just saying.

looking at ALL the shots i might say it could be trigger finger placement ? comparing shot 18 (flyer) to shot 23 is what makes me think this . ?

Hello @rsfrid

Ross I am just using up a bunch of extra pellets and not trying to get this pistol to "like" the Crosman. The Pistol shoots perfect with the H&N and the JSB, I just found it a bit odd with these fliers. I'm almost out of these so I will move on to another one.

Hey all of this is fun in one way or the other and that is what counts :D.

Hello @beerthief

You could be right, but I have this trigger set pretty low and I am taking my time with each shot. As I explained to Ross, I am just shooting up a bunch of extra pellets and will not be using the Crosman again in this Pistol.

With my next pellet order I will add some AA's and give them a try.

Thomas, I don't mean to second guess your trigger process but have a look at this article and see if it describes what’s going on

I shot this string @ 25 yards at my backyard "range" with my Notos after polishing the sear contact points and trigger adjustment grub screw. I took a followup shot on the ones I pulled. Pretty happy with this $210 air gun!View attachment 512811

Hello everyone,

Really felt like “winter indoor shooting” this morning even though the Sun is out. Low 40's this morning and my shop floor a bit too cold for my bare feet so I was forced to slip on some shoes to shoot this target. My offering for a competition target today.

Range: 15 - Feet Indoors
Pistol: Diana Bandit .177 caliber modified w/Buck Rail AR Conversion & Grip
Scope: Hawkeye Red Dot
Pellets: H&N Sport 8.18gr Wadcutter
FPS: 475
FPE: 5.9
Position: Bench with Bipod and rear Bag

Go to Home Depot and buy a bag of shredded tire mulch. Will last forever. Put it in the tub.

Did a little shooting with my Leshiy Classic 177 I put a Hawke Crossbow scope on it figure that will work for shooting sparrows off the feeder man this thing is so quiet I'll be able to sit on the patio and pop them, that's the main reason for sighting in so close. The cross hair is crooked because its tilled on the bag.

Hello @Bowhunter73

That is pretty neat, print out some paper targets and try shooting them.
