I hope this will be of some help to anyone that shoots a .177 Cal Diana Bandit either with Domed or Wadcutter pellets. I saved and printed out all of the shot paper targets shot from these test to view and study.

Hello everyone,

Shot the last six tins of various brands and weights of Domed Pellets in the Bandit this morning. One surprise was how well the H&N Power 8.8gr ( copper ) pellet shot, I have never had any gun shoot these worth a crap.

Overall results are if I were to zero any one of the Wadcutter and or Domed pellets to this Pistol they would shoot OK for everyday plinking. Several will shoot accurately enough for some serious target shooting.

I will remove the barrel and do a complete cleaning and do one more light polish job.

@ThomasT I agree with Randal. If you have more, try rezeroing for that pellet and shoot a couple strings. Then shoot a couple 5 shot groups. You might be surprised.

The usual splatter paper targets, grown to 4.7" in size, shot at 75 M distance using JTS 10.4 grain domed pellets.
Wind there for sure, did not hold for it.
Tune just 75% had to change to pellets CUZ a 600 mm standard superior FX barrel will NOT shoot 10grain KO MK3 slugs even just half well, so pellets it is,,,,, or maybe 13 grain slugs.

Last shot i was shooting for the bottom red dot, so right time to stop recording.

Unusually cold spell here Temperature wise at least so installing my indoor range which translates to rearranging some storage items . The range will only be 23 feet but ok for indoor pistol . Ok back to the moving of stuff .
(maybe i should just order a Dumpster ?)

I set up the baseline for my 2-hand off hand shooting at 10-meters today. I am shooting B-40 targets. Weather and family have prevented my getting out to the range. There is certainly room for improvement!

Good luck with the "new" indoor range. Plenty of 15-Feet targets to choose from and that is perfect for Pistol shooting.

ok indoor range is now usable !!! First up is dial in my Daisy 777 ,.177 . Just got a fake pistol clamp on top of a tripod , works great . much easier to keep the pistol in the same place / aimed at the exact dot .

Hello everyone,

Another day of cold, clear blue skies with no wind. I decided to I give the squirrels a better chance so I installed the Hawke Reflex Red Dot scope on the Diana Stormrider. Set a test target out at 10-meters and zeroed the scope and it only took 4 shots with adjustments. I then shot 24 rounds all in the Bullseye which is a 1-inch diameter. This is going to be a fun winter with the .

I had a nice group going then I pulled one high, so I shot an extra one making it a six shot group.
It didn't help Lol.
I am liking what I'm seeing though. I hope it's not a freak accident. It is my first group with FT&Ts.
HW97K .20 cal, 225 feet.

Here's the same set up just prior to that group with the JSB 13.73's.

What I liked about the FTT's is that it concentrated several hits in the bullseye, and the JSB's shoot circles around the bullseye all day long.

Still occasionally pulling them left, but there's ten shots from the FX Crown .30cal, 44.75 Gr JSB's @890 fps. 10 - 10's, and 9 -Xs.
I was hoping to give it a run for it's money with a springer.

They do shoot good in this Pistol. The pellets in the Tin look good but as I was loading them into the magazines I did notice several with slightly bent skirts. I'm guessing this is a soft lead like the JSB and they "re-form" to shape when shot. Not a single flier out all of the ones that I shot this morning.
