I will agree. Installing the Altaros regulator has really "smoothed" out the shot cycle with this small cylinder. That was 24 total shots with enough reserve air to have shot a fifth mag. And not too bad on accuracy for this little rifle either . Now if I can ever get the Fill Valve with Gauge so I will have both Cylinder and Regulator pressures. After waiting a month the first Valve-Gauge was defective and would release the air when the probe was removed . Almost another month and the replacement arrived and it had a leak that I could not fix, so now I am waiting on a third unit .......

Yeah, that’s what I am thinking too. I think I am going to shoot this rifle in our next indoor match to see how it’s score compares to my Avenger’s scores.

OK, my submission for this morning. HW44 177 cal pistol bench rested. Baracuda FT 9.57 pellets straight from tin (unsorted). Distance 7 yds (maximum I have in basement). Temperature outdoors 15 degrees F. Temperature in basement 65 degrees F. That's why I shoot indoors. All holes scored with 177 plug.

Fiddled around shooting some different pellets out of the 300S today. I was pleasantly surprised that the RWS Meisterkuglns shot really well. 5 shot group. My usual go to in this rifle is H& N Finale Match Heavy. The Meisterk’s shoot just left of the H&Ns zero. They shoot the same size groups though. Interesting stuff.

I tested some pellets in the RAW Chassis this afternoon. I’ve never had a rifle that would shoot the 34 grain pellets. Makes me curious to see how they will do outside at 50Y. The RAW certainly doesn’t like any of the JTS pellets yet the Vet seems to prefer them. It’s interesting how different rifles will prefer different pellets.

I’ve not done any tuning yet on this gun or the Vet. Just trying to get an idea what pellets they might like before playing with velocity tweaks.

I’ve never had a .22 that would shoot the 34s worth a hoot so this is piquing my interest. I’ve not crono’d them yet so I’m not sure how fast they are going?

Was able to grab a seat at the range...been busy lately.
Then a 1/2 hour later, i had it all to myself.
Was able to really concentrate on shot placement and aim points.
Targets were at 100 yards at an indoor range.
I used my Epoch firing JTS 22.07 pellets
At least 10 shots per target ..in the order i shot them ..really like the last 2 targets!
It was a great day at the range
