What Paper Target Did You Shoot Today

I quit at 4. Still haven’t gotten a complete cut off though. Still wows me that the rifle is capable of hitting the edge of a playing card time after time. Simply amazing
Very cool Steve. I really want to try this but I have to buy a deck of cards first, duh…

I bought 2 tins of these pellets a couple years ago and they would not shoot worth a hoot in anything that I had so I figured I’d try them in the Vet… It’s not great but vastly better than anything else I’ve shot them in.

Nice shooting! Enjoying the nice weather? Should be indoor weather for a few here in Winterland.
Nice shooting your self! Yup it’s pretty chilly and a lot of snow. I’m pretty thankful I can shoot indoors. I live on a golf course so I can’t shoot outside here without going to the club. Then I just shoot powder burners. I can get 46 feet in the basement if I move things around but generally I just keep things at 10 M.

I got a little bored this afternoon so I headed to my basement lair to confirm my earlier findings on the FX pellets. Made a small sight adjustment and fired 5 for effect. Yup, they are keepers 👍View attachment 530384
Yep, my Weihrauch likes them also. Nice group.

I did shoot some paper, actually a lot of it, but not worth sharing pics of.
I did however like my 5 shots at the 75 M spinner.
Shot #1 the POA was dead center on the pig, i then clicked a little to compensate and impact #1 was then the POA for the last 4 shots that also included a click down and a click to the Right.
( some times you are better off not clicking )

13 gr .177 / 4.5 mm Zan slugs and of course my Epic Two, there was a little wind but not much.

PS. The nick in the back, that was while trying to get on target ( zeroed for 55 M )

EDIT:

I forgot to tell wheat was even better.

The 4 target Gamo spinner/ resetting target that usually are overpowered and so flip back.
Well put it up at 125 yards and at a slight angle and it aint getting overpowered :) well at least not with 13 grain Zan slugs.
And the 1.5" or so paddles on it, well sufficient small target at that distance for a .177 rifle, my best " flip " was 3 in a row, then nicked #4,then flipped the last one and then reset them all.
So 6 shots for a 5 shot operation, at that distance i am thinking pretty darn cool.
Shooting papers at the same distante though :ROFLMAO: those was a buzz kill.

3 groups of 5 @10 meters. RWS 45. All were fired with my hand resting on the front bag no rear bag. I was as deliberate to shooting with the same loose grip with good follow through. I expected to see more uniform groups. I guess shooting springers with moderate recoil is going to take more practice. Actually the last group wasn’t too bad. Since getting the FWB 300S I’m probably spoiled with what I expect for accuracy.
