Thanks but It’s really just the rifle. I bag it good line up the sights and squeeze off the shot without me influencing the rifle as much as possible

Very cool Steve. I really want to try this but I have to buy a deck of cards first, duh…I quit at 4. Still haven’t gotten a complete cut off though. Still wows me that the rifle is capable of hitting the edge of a playing card time after time. Simply amazing

these look like a copy of the original JSB MonstersI bought 2 tins of these pellets a couple years ago and they would not shoot worth a hoot in anything that I had so I figured I’d try them in the Vet… It’s not great but vastly better than anything else I’ve shot them in.

Mike, I like that shape of pellet, reminds me of the discontinued H&N Sniper pellets! Tim IGOLF@8 posted a pic of the Hawk 25gr that look similar to these.these look like a copy of the original JSB Monsters

Yes, I do believe they are a copy of that original pellet, which never shot accurately for me, out of any of my guns.these look like a copy of the original JSB Monsters

Nice shooting! Enjoying the nice weather? Should be indoor weather for a few here in Winterland.Tried some new pellets I saw at the local sporting goods store. Tried them in the FWB 300 S and my RWS 45. Not bad in the 300S and pretty fair in the 45. View attachment 530326View attachment 530327
Nice shooting your self! Yup it’s pretty chilly and a lot of snow. I’m pretty thankful I can shoot indoors. I live on a golf course so I can’t shoot outside here without going to the club. Then I just shoot powder burners. I can get 46 feet in the basement if I move things around but generally I just keep things at 10 M.Nice shooting! Enjoying the nice weather? Hello @rsfridSince it’s so cold and snowy here in Michigan, I shot again in the basement. 5 shot groups are a favorite of mine if done with my precise HW44 177 cal.

Yep, my Weihrauch likes them also. Nice group.I got a little bored this afternoon so I headed to my basement lair to confirm my earlier findings on the FX pellets. Made a small sight adjustment and fired 5 for effect. Yup, they are keepersView attachment 530384
The 1st target I posted was off to the left a little. That’s why I made the sight correction, I’m OCDSteve, I think you and Ross have been getting defective targets. I can’t understand why those holes are always in the center of them?
yes more powerful springers take a bit , first find the balance point on the gun ,hold and shoot , then move a little forward then a bit more . the balance point might be just in front of the trigger guard . some guns your forehand has to be in just the right place .3 groups of 5 @10 meters. RWS 45. All were fired with my hand resting on the front bag no rear bag. I was as deliberate to shooting with the same loose grip with good follow through. I expected to see more uniform groups. I guess shooting springers with moderate recoil is going to take more practice. View attachment 530975
