What Paper Target Did You Shoot Today

20240205_170844.jpg

50 foot flyspeck target shot at 20 yards indoors using my Thomas .177 BR and 1 piece rest. The inside diameter of the circle is 0.335. Scoring - 1 or 0. Cannot touch the inside edge of the circle or it is a 0. Must be plugged with a 0.224 plug. The above card plugged 8/25.

At 20 yards indoors my average 5 shot group dispersion for 4 groups is 0.219 edge to edge. All shots fell within that dispersion.

Tough target.

Hello everyone,

Another Spring day here in Deep East Texas and almost no wind, so perfect conditions to shoot some paper targets. Shot several “messing around” targets and then shot this General Target 2.0 . I have on order several more pellets from 16gr up to 18gr and will give them all a test in the Avenger.

Range: Outdoor 10-Meters
Rifle: Air Venturi Avenger Gen I, Regulated, .22 caliber
Scope: Vector Optics, Tourex 6-24x50 FFP
Pellets: JTS Dead Center 16.08gr
FPS: ?
FPE: ?
Wind: 0 to 3 mph

Great card with your Avenger Thomas!
Hello @Ranchibi

Almost two full Tins ( 250 pieces per Tin ) of the 16.08 down the barrel and I had planned to start testing the 18.13. However I placed an order for various brands in different 16"s weight so I will test with them first. This is going to be my primary 10-Meter rifle and I really would like to shoot the lighter weight pellets if the gun will allow.

What a nice early morning 50yrd...not a flyer in the card! Looks like the 1st shot on top and bottom went in sideways..probably just a bad paper tear. Need some of those "regular" pellets
Mike
You can see, i didn't do a very good job getting the paper against the backer. it was dewey and my stickey wasnt stickin..

Have you ever tried the JSB RS 13gr and 14gr? I use these thru my Prod for rats, very accurate for distances under 50yds. You can then lower reg pressure and HS and get a b'zillion shots....😂
