Looks Great Thomas!
One day sure can make a difference!
The BRK is shooting well
How's the scope working out? Good clarity?
Hope you continure to have nice weather
Hello @manabeknives

Thank you and the scope is really nice, it sure helps to "bring in" those small Bulls for me to see better 😁.

The weather is perfect, I have worked out in my vegetable garden all afternoon and am wore out.

Had to punch some paper with the new to me rifle. The two in the white and the center was zeroing with one mag. Top left was low power, top right medium power, bottom left some fast shots at full power. Shot at 20 yards. I just had to shoot it today.

Congratulations on your new Brocock! Great shooter too! I truly understand your NEED to get out to shoot a new one! 🤗

Cool Rifle...nice shooter

Picked up a used .22 Notos recently and trying to tune it as a barn gun @ sub 600 FPS. Screening which pellets are worth further testing outdoors. It’s also interesting that this is the only gun I’ve ever owned that would shoot PolyMags.

Not bad with the Poly's ...you'd be one up on me..never could get them to shoot in my rifles. Not bad for a 2nd hand budget!!
Anyone try the AEA pellets??
CHP's don't look too bad either...man ..i still got boxes of those :cautious:
Think it is worth polishing the barrel?
It's ironic with budget rifles...i'm afraid to buy and waste the money on them...yet it's ok to buy a elite airgun and blow 3-4 times the amount ,,it's a sickness
Nice Test project

The barrel was loose when I received it. So I removed it and polished it while it was off. It’s odd there is only one grub screw holding the barrel in place. There is a second hole drilled and tapped in the receiver above the barrel but no way to access it under the pic rail so I drilled a hole in the pic rail, installed the second grub screw and now the barrel is nice and snug. Polished all the trigger interface surfaces as well as the hammer spring, removed burrs from the hammer and assembled it back together. Cocking the rifle still isn’t as smooth as a high end rifle but its not horrible especially at a sub $300 price point.

Hi Guys
I asked Martin to send me another regulator for using the lighter 18.13g JSB’s. I’d rather have 2 so that I can keep the high power settings on the first. I had the speeds down to 890-900 fps and the rifle just was not performing. I recalled when Ranchibi was saying that his RAW performed better when it was blasting air. So I grabbed a hex wrench turned it in a revolution,. The groups tightened up, but I thought I could bump it up more. It tightened a little more, so I proceeded to shoot the targets. I liked the results, but I was anxious to get home and get it under a chrony to see what speed I was shooting…1000-1010 fps!!!! That’s much too hot! Yet I was getting results…weird. I see what happens tomorrow

Congratulations Tim! Looks like you have on your hands a non pellet picky barrel! I'm sure the pests will not like your new acquisition...😂

Great cards Mike! For some reason my barrel like yours....likes SPEED! I tried shooting the 18gr from 880-900...not great....950-970 and NIRVANA! Funny though...yours has a cut rifle mine a non choked poly....😂👍. I'm guessing Martin builds his guns for SPEED....? Just as long as it's ACCURATE....right!? 🤗 What I find weird is slugs...920-950...haven't had to go faster as they are very accurate at these speeds, I thought they would need to be shot faster, shows what I know 😂.

Hello everyone,

Starting a new post “What Paper Target Did You Shoot Today”. With Spring right around the corner we will be setting up our outdoor ranges shooting Paper Targets and other items. But I would like this thread to be exclusive shooting Paper Targets ONLY. There are a lot of really good Competition and Challenge threads on the Forum where we can offer our shot targets for the day. Here we can post all the other Paper Targets that we shoot and then share here. You can share any and all information about the target, gun, pellet, range, distance, weather conditions, etc, etc. that you wish. I am hoping this will encourage more folks to get out and shoot at least one Paper Target everyday.

I will start by offering a 25-Yard Score MOA target that I shot this morning before the rain started, with a score of 249. Used my FX Crown MK II .177 caliber rifle, with FX 13.4gr 4.52mm pellets, at 25-yards, cloudy overcast and no wind.

What type of paper works well for these in our typical printers?
