What Paper Target Did You Shoot Today

What type of paper works well for these in our typical printers?
Hello @cavedweller

I just use standard 8-1/2 x 11 copy paper in my printer, I believe it is 20-pound. I do not use any glue because I scan the target after I shoot it and post that scan here on the Forum. I also save most of my shot targets for study and review.

Hello everyone,

Received three new Pellets in late yesterday so I took time off this morning from working in the garden to shoot some “test paper targets”. I did not make any adjustments to the scope, but I did aim every time at the center.

As you can see my Brocock did not like the Dagger pellets but shot the Rifle and the Brimstone very well. I now will do a lot more testing with the “good ones”.

A note here: the Rifle are some of the BEST looking Pellets that I have seen in years, When I opened the Tin, I was so surprised that I took several and viewed them under a lighted magnifying glass, boy they look good. Now I need to do some 25-yard testing.

Range: Outdoor 10 - Meters
Rifle: Brocock Sniper XR .22 caliber
Scope: Vector Minotaur Gen2 12-60x60 MFL FFP
Pellets: See List
FPS:
FPE:
Wind: 50 to 10 mph

Thomas, fantastic card with the new pellets! I too have some of the 18gr Rifle pellets and they are made very well plus my RAW likes them but they are more expensive than JSB! They are harder than JSB, close to H&N in hardness.

Hello @Ranchibi

Are the Rifle as accurate as the JSB for your gun?

Testing pellets at 25 yards with the new to me Concept Lite XR. Some wind from left to right, but mostly I was not in top form today. Except for the crosman 14.3 gr they are all 5 shot groups. I tethered the rifle to my Great White.
Pellets are from the tins as they come from the factory

Hello @Florida_Man

You have several groups that look good.

On your top card, you have JSB Wad 18.8, I'm guessing those are wadcutters for the clean round holes. I sure wish all pellets left those clean holes :)

Yeah, I wish they grouped a little better. The last target has the JSB wadcutter, the top card is JTS Wadcutter. It's pretty cool JTS offers an 18 gr wadcutter. I am going to repeat these tests at all 4 levels on the transfer port, hopefully they tighten up with a little less speed.

All really accurate except the wadcutters! A non picky barrel is for me nirvana! 🤗

Nice testing
I like the plastic diameter measure you use..that's slick
anyone try the AEA center punch pellets? Saw them at the pellet shop.
Pellets..like potato chips..can't have just one

They are cheap to get a Quick Look.

I haven’t tried those pellets yet.

Hello everyone

The wind let up just enough so that I could shoot some paper targets today. Set up several targets out at 10-meters and shot some more of the Rifle Premium pellets. I am really liking how well these pellets are shooting.

Scope: Vector Minotaur Gen2 12-60x60 MFL FFP

Hello everyone,

Real late start for me to shoot some paper targets today but I took advantage of the perfect cool morning to do more work in my vegetable garden. However the wind did pick up just a tiny bit from dead calm but not enough to effect the shooting. Shot this 4-Card Challenge at 25-yards and I am very impressed with these Rifle Premium pellets and obviously the Brocock Sniper also likes them.

Hello @manabeknives

I believe it is a combination of several things. Yes the Scope is a nice upgrade, but using the Precision Rifle Rest really helps a whole lot on the longer shots and add to this are the, new to me, Rifle Pellets that my rifle is shooting so well.
