Strange..your rifle shot all the pellets roughly the same ..yet it scatter shot the AEA'sHello everyone,
I have a cold front coming in early this morning and I can not shoot much today so I decided to just mess around with this paper target and shoot 5-times at each 10-Ring. Shot 5-different pellets including the last one which is a Wadcutter and I did not make any adjustments to the scope. Like I said the other day, the Avenger is not pellet picky.

Scope: Aztec Emerald 5.5-25x50 FFP

I have found several pellets that I stocked up on. For instance, the FX/JSB 15.89 sorted does wonderful in my Atomic pistol. The H&N 9.57 grain FT pellet does remarkably in my HW44. The JSB 34 grainers do great in my Maverick. Etc. And the H&N 18s do great in our Dreamlines and my Avenger. Here is my stash for the Dreamline/Avenger and the RAW 22 calWhen you find that Dr. for the help...Send me the number!![]()
Then you take those best pellets and begin experimenting with washing, lubrication, sorting, ….Hello @rsfrid
OK that makes 100% complete sense. However ................ what if there is that magic pellet that shoots a perfect bullseye every time

That's not hoarding — it's wise pellet managementthis picture makes me feel like a huge Hoarder
Hello @rsfridWell, folks, it's snowing again in Michigan (was in high 60s yesterday) and 30mph wind. So that means shooting in basement today.

So I shot a card with the Atomic 22cal pistol and some of the newly sorted 15.89 grain pellets.

Then I followed up with a card and my HW44 pistol shooting the ever trusty Baracuda FT 9.57 grain pellets. Why try new stuff when I have a combo that works?
