What Paper Target Did You Shoot Today

Hello everyone,

Well to make up for lost time shooting paper targets this past month, I took advantage of a beautiful morning and shot a boat load of them. Even with a bit more wind than would be perfect conditions the Brocock Sniper XR was really shooting great. I shot the Texas Crazy 32 for my last card and I like shooting this because it requires “setting up” after each target and this make me stop and think on each shot.

Range: Outdoor 10-Meters
Rifle: Brocock Sniper XR .22 caliber
Scope: Athlon Argos BTR Gen2 10-40x56
Pellets: JSB Jumbo Heavy 18.13gr
FPS: 834
FPE: 28
Wind: 10 to 15 mph

On such a Beautiful Spring Day I took out the Woods Walker.
This is my Plinker, accurate though.
Homemade target at 25 Meters.
A mild 6 MPH wind from Right to Left, SSE 6 mph.

Nice test shots Pete,
Which do you find to have more accuracy out of your rifle; the pellets or the slugs > 100 yards
Love to see them at 100...if possible cuz you had some nice groups at 50

Went to the range to try out the MRD shallows at 100yards with my Raw .22
These pellets outperform the last generation.
So far, they have not been mixed with the "DEEPS" and have a bit more shine to them(less oxidized?)
i shot a lucky 3 shot grouping that was not repeated for the rest of the testing which measured at .44

The rest of the groups i shot were 5 shot groups(i only did 5 cuz i found out that these are sold out in most places i looked)
2 of the groups were sub-moa, with the majority a little over moa.

Hope to do tests later this week adjusting for FPS.

p.s. Does daylight savings feel like stay at home jet lag to anyone else? Lol

Hey Beerthief,
One of the members displayed this..i think on this thread, but i thought it was kinda slick.
it's for a seemstress, but works for group sizes. and it's cheap!

Hello everyone,

Oh come on number 13

With my new vegetable garden in place I have had to rearrange the location of the 10-Meter and the 25-Yard target frames. So today I decided to shoot the 25-Yard for the first time and missed getting all 20 X’s by just one and you see which one that got me, ole #13.

Range: Outdoor 25-Yards
Rifle: Brocock Sniper XR .22 caliber
Scope: Athlon Argos BTR Gen2 10-40x56
