What Paper Target Did You Shoot Today

Just a bit of group shooting. Two things I noticed today - as I get tired of gripping the pistol, the groups open up a little. Partly due to inconsistent finger location on trigger face. Shots pull or push a bit — still in center ring but off to side of POA. Second thing is that the HW44 likes to have a clean barrel. As I shoot more and more, the barrel fouls up and shots aren't as consistent. Picky, I know, but I am learning all about precision vs accuracy and this helps for better precision. So there are more one hole groups on target one than on target two.

My biggest weakness is keeping concentration on each and every shot on a single target.

Well, tried my QYS match wadcutter pellets to see how I could do. Nice thing about them is no torn holes like the BaracudaFTs. While they aren't quite as precise as the Baracudas, if I work on my hand hold, I can get some good groups/shots. Targets are numbered in sequence as shot so I think you can see improvement that proper finger placement and hand hold creates. As I shot, I used hold-off to adjust for variation in POI too fine to be adjusted by the coarse reticle adjustment of the Bugbuster (3 clicks per moa).

Well small cloverleaf groups are good, but the "one-hole" is really good

I received my parts to mount my Burris FFIII red dot but the dovetail to picatinny adapter is jacked up and lets the dot set at odd angle. I just couldn’t stand looking at it.

So, I pulled it off and put the scope back on. I also installed a Buck Rail forearm, a lower pic rail, AR Grip and AccuTac bipod. Then I borrowed Ross’ idea and rested the grip on a rear scissor jack.

Then I proceeded to zero the scope at 10 Meters and shoot the following targets. I struggled with the first target because I could not see my cross hairs in the black bull. The second target was easier to shoot because my crosshairs showed up in the lighter colored bull back ground. The cheap WallyWorld pellets shoot pretty well in this Bandit.

That is a nice looking Pistol . That adapter is strange, it must be machined wrong, that would drive me crazy . Looking from the rear view, can you rotate the "movable" piece that is secured with the screws, 180 degrees? It appears that one "leg" of that piece is a bit longer than the other, I wonder if it is upside down?

I tried that Thomas but the holes are offset only allowing it to be oriented in one direction.

Very well done. Red dots are for speed shooting anyways. I think regular scopes are better suited for this style shooting. Just my opinion, of course.

Cant you shim it out on top of the dove tail and so force it to sit right ?

Yeah, there really is a thing as too cheap.

While i did use it for a while, my cheap airsoft bipod have been retired in favor of a more conversational front rest.
Not least since just about all airguns only have a bipid fixing position just in front of trigger guard, and i feel i can hear someone laughing at me if i was to put a bipod there.
