What Paper Target Did You Shoot Today

Just a little quick shooting to refresh my technique.

More 75 M dot shredding, was a little preoccupied with my friends new DRS, but these are of course shot with my Two and as usual lately 13 grain Zan slugs.

First one just dumping XX shots into the target, wind was fairly OK but from all over the place even if it was only supposed to come from the south ( back in our case )

As you probably know these 10 M targets are not big. ( aim small miss small )

This second one, just the last few slugs in my tin, so a fairly OK 400 shot day at the range today.

If the casual mounted papers mess with your OCD,,,,,,

We have indoor 10M this Friday At Bay Point, CA..
Maybe this month I will get credit for both of the targets I shot last month.
Here is a little practice target I shot today.
The 601 is quite heavy and the ol’ man shot 6 hours of pocket billiards earlier in the day.
Five in the center to warm up the trigger finger than counter-clockwise…

Hmmmmmm, pocket billiards, do tell? I used to spend a lot of time on 4x8’s and 5x10’s. I used to love to play one pocket and billiards.

I was thinking about why this was so hard for me. One I can’t draw and two, maybe because I didn’t have an actual target to focus on? I screwed up 5 or 6 before I got this one and it still isn’t very good. Interesting 🤔
Steve, just put a piece of paper over the target you intend to post. Draw the smiley face on that top paper. Shoot your pellets. Remove it from the underlying target and voila! you have one perfect target!

HMMM ? draw a smiley face and shoot through it to a blank paper , very good !

Impressive @25Y. Offhand or benched? .22 or .177?
It was benched and a 22. I took off the Holusun that was on it and replaced it with the scope. The targets in the photo below were shot at 50 feet (16.7 yards). The scope is a Burris 2X and gives me a little more accuracy. With the Holusun at 25 yards, the groups size was, obviously, larger.

So I figured that I could shrink the groups size with the scope. I can get 30 good shots before the velocity starts to drop off significantly. Now if I could only find a place to dispatch some rodents!

BTW, if anyone is old enough to remember this business card, then we can be friends.
