I shot my brand new FX Impact M4 with a thermal scope on it. These are the last targets that I shot at today as I was doing some initial experimentation with different slugs. All are five round groups except for the lower right which is three rounds. The .22 caliber magazine only holds 28 rounds.
Thermals can be a little difficult to sight in if you are using the disposable hand warmers because of the "blooming" effect in the scope. Today was a sunny day and I was able to cut up small pieces of metallic tape and see them through the scope. The distance was 25 yards.
The projectile was the NSA slug at 31.2 grains with an average MV of 862 FPS for a little over 53 FPE.
The winds weren't cooperating very much. With that said, I'm very please with the rifle. Shout out to Toni at
@Talon Tunes for making this a pleasurable experience. He's a great guy to do business with.
