What pistol did you shoot today

Thinking of plinking with the PP 700 today as a little contrast the the GK1. I LOVE this simple single shot pistol, and how easy and inexpensive it is to change calibers and barrels. Yeah

I just realized that most of the guns I like to shoot don't have transfer ports on the barrel, but instead an in-line port behind the breech. Pp700, gk1, talon P, condor, evanix rex are all like this. It makes me happy knowing that there are no internal barrel O-rings... maybe why barrels are so cheap - less machining?

The device on the muzzle is actually the cocking aid for my hatsan mod 25 supercharger 😂 Takes the edge off of the bark and makes it a little easier to check the pressure without staring down the end of the barrel...

Those are beautiful. I got a look at one when I bought my Webley tempest back in 1998 - would love to have gotten one but it was out of my budget at the time.

I'm realizing I don't remember how you cock those - can't say that I can figure it out from the pic. Especially with the scopes on there...
Just pull back on hammer, it pops open. Very nice build. Crow

After many interruptions and distractions, (mostly unwelcome) I finally got to try out the two new magazines for my Daisy Powerline 44, very kindly sent over the pond by vintageairguncollector@gm.
This now gives me six good mags to allow me to keep blasting away.
Gave the 8" barrel an airing today, the 6" and 4" can wait for another time. Got just over 60 good shots before the gas started fading, the card in the picture was the best of the session, shot at 10m off-hand.
My big conundrum now is whether to leave the chipped paint on the barrels as they are, touch up, or completely strip and re-spray. Any opinions would be appreciated.

GK 1, up at at higher power today after months of shooting it in the 30 to 40 FPE range. The small LDC is not quite doing the trick and it's kind of fun shooting some thing with a bit of a report. Those pellets are really scooting... will have to clock them next time.

I feel like the report on this is quite different than the hammered guns that I shoot. Sounds like a very short clipped pop and it has me thinking there is at least some hammer bounce on my PCPs with a hammer. Either that or longer valve dwell. I'd like to do a slow motion recording of the sound of this compared to my other airguns and see if there is a big difference in the duration of the report.

This has been holding zero better than my other guns, it's always right on the money from the first shot.

The other thing is I can't believe the trigger on this gun. everything else I shoot just kind of has functional triggers like evanix Rex, aea guns, airforce, kral. Until now I've only read about quality triggers and I had no idea that they could be this adjustable, so light to pull, and such a clean and precise break. It's made a huge difference in my accuracy.

GK1 again this morning... really heating up today around here.

I just can't believe how stable the platform is. it may have been a combination of poor projectile choice and low quality optics in the past but i've never had a gun that held zero this well and was so easy to sight in when changing the sight. I think a part of it is finally getting a sight that is actually reasonably well constructed. It was a budget red dot from AliExpress but much much better than any of the budget red dots I have purchased in the US.

Always felt the LP53 OEM sight a bit of a weak feature.
The one fitted to the LP2 is Neater, more robust, with no flexing and superb sight picture. Nice click adjustment screws with white dot to show you where you are...
So I've added one to my 53K ...made an adapter base with holes to match the old sight fixing threads....several 3/4 inch groups achieved at 10 yards
