What pistol did you shoot today

Schimel P22 (22cal).
Ran a few rounds through it today.
Almost as much fun as the real thing. Loud and accurate, it chrono's around 420fps with 14.3gr roundheads.
Yes, you do have to cycle that "Luger" toggle to load the next pellet.
The first few shots with a fresh cylinder always seem to deliver the most punch, so just for fun I fed it some 34gr Jumbo Diabolo's. It kicked like my Ruger Mk4 and buried the shot in the wood fence. Gawd!

New toy … Springfield Armory 1911.
I’m not usually a fan of BB guns but this is actually a lot of fun

Update …
1) It’s a lot of fun to shoot
2) It can be improved

I suspect the accuracy can be improved by tightening up the action. While the slide moves easily, it does so with excessive play. Ditto for the barrel flopping around.
Brass shims can fix the slide slop.
Barrel slop is two-fold … barrel to “fake barrel”, and then “fake barrel” to slide … both with excessive clearance. I figure the easiest way to fix this is to just spin out a new fake barrel (using steel) and toss the chrome thing that’s in there now.
Granted, it’s just a BB gun and will never be very accurate, but sloppy construction always irks me a bit.

I would be interested to see what you do. I have seen one fix for the KWC 'platform' that uses some self adhesive PTFE tape applied to the inside of the barrel/slide bush, but a new steel fake barrel sounds cool.

This is the link, but I don't know if you would need to sign-up to the forum to access it.

That article describes some of what I want to do, except he’s using tape where I prefer to replace the outer barrel with one that fits with tighter clearances, even if brass bushings are needed.
Also, the slide to frame fit is quite loose and I’m studying how to install steel shim stock. Ideally, steel shims on both the frame and slide so that the sliding surfaces are steel not alloy. This won’t be easy.
Most folks use silicon grease on their airguns, and I follow that advice wherever the grease will come into contact with seals. But everywhere else I use plain old axle grease and plenty of it. I use this approach on the Luger with all its fiddly moving parts and it’s kept the thing smooth and tight. I’m giving this 1911 the same treatment.

Umarex Ruger MKIV, ten shots at 10m, single arm hold. Sometimes the trigger is really heavy, but then it can get REALLY HEAVY, so at the point the sear is released, the tremors have set in.
Still great budget fun though. 😁

Also shot my clunky Hammerli Sparkler, a bit better than last week since I modified the new front sight I added to the previous owners front end modification. Ten shots at 10m, single arm hold.

First things first … took a black felt pen to that silly “Not a Toy …. “ text just under the slide, and replaced the plastic grips with some proper rosewood grips from Springfield Armory. Had to remove a little wood to clear a small bump in the airgun frame that doesn’t exist on a real 1911. Ok, I’m much happier now

I'm still trying to get the hung of this pistol (Manul). Some times I don't get a full mag rotation unless I make sure to crank it to the stop after loading. This is a good candidate for a removable self indexing mag. Waiting on a Monstrum cantilever mount for scope, again due to the loading design of this pistol. I don't have the dexterity to load it under a scope.
