What pistol did you shoot today

This one after dinner

I had two out for a short time this morning, shooting at hanging soda cans. The wind was up quite a bit so they were really dancing around making for a difficult target. First I had my HW 75, and while quite accurate it takes a lot of effort to cock and tires me out quickly, so I switched to my IZH 46M which like the HW is a SSP, but so much easier to shoot and the trigger is fantastic, really with it all you do is think about it and it goes off.

Barrel bands for the 2240 ....
Not much secures that steel breech , just one bolt at the rear and a tiny screw near the middle.
I added a rubber o-ring for the transfer port and that meant having to press the breech and gas tube together when tightening up the small screw ... always worrying that it might strip out.
The brass barrel band at the front of the breech is a nice tight slip-fit and helps to hold the breech down. Takes a bit of the stress off that screw. The second barrel band helps to keep the barrel colinear with the gas tube (and for my nutty sense of aesthetics).
Yes it makes everything a bit heavier but it feels super solid now.
There's no end to this ... somebody stop me!:)

The only two guns that shoot Crosman Premier 22 pellets 14.3 gr descent, And I have tried them in a lot of high dollar guns, The PP 750 has the after market 10 inch barrel, But the winner goes to the PP 700 so far, Testing is far from over, And if you dont have a pellet pen for your PP 700 your working your fingers to hard, LOL.

Nice calm day today, just waiting for temp to raise a little before opening window to shot. My pp750 has a Notos stock now and both guns have after market barrels. The pp700 I bore straight through and use set screws front and back to hold the barrel. Very easy no tear down breech O-ring replacement. The lead inn is cut a little deeper and pellets just glide down from the pellet guide I made. My arthritic fingers is happier now, llo.

@Bandito , When I got my 46M the other day with both a Rink Large RH and the OEM Red/Black grip I also got the other bits that came with the AV 46M including the extra narrower front blade and the extra rear blade that has two different rear slot sizes on each of the two rear blades. Just flip the rear blade. So got 4 different rear sight blades slot choices. I also got an extra plunger cup and breech O-ring.

I put the AV46M aftermarket trigger on the pistol. OMG! Also - I took a close look at the rear and front sights. And another - OMG, for my old bifocal wearing presbyopic eyes I installed the widest slot rear sight and the narrower front sight, put one in the 10 ring and another in the 9 ring on a NRA 10m target shooting one-handed like a Turkish casual Olympic 10M shooter, put the pistol in its cradle and went to bed.

I shot the PP 700 today , There just something about loading a pellet and pulling the trigger to shoot, The trigger is pretty good on the PP700 I can almost live with it, But after an hour I pulled out the PP 750 , The trigger sucks, I am just hoping there is a easy fix for this trigger, Just gave the two Hubens a rest while I played with the cheap pistols , Had fun I killed a few cans and small pill bottles at 25 yards , FYI if you have multiple pistols buy the same red dot for all of them, Makes things a lot more simple,
Mike
