Having this short 15 foot distance has given me the opportunity to see how important stance is when shooting off hand.

Bingo.Everything matters. Too often we focus on the gun, the pellet, etc. when we should be concentrating on stance, foot placement, grip, etc. I have pretty much learned to close my eyes, raise pistol to target and see where it lands. Then shift stance till raising the pistol has the sites right on the bullseye. There will be less stress on your muscles that way. Practice, practice, practice.
This thing wasn’t without a few initial problems.Broke out the Umarex MP40 today for a chrono check.
They advertise this at 465fps or thereabouts.
I chrono'd it at 440fps with black diamond BBs, and at 10 yards it was holding 1" groups., even on full auto!
Not bad for a BB gun plinker.
Oh .... and zero misfeeds with the black diamonds. Just pure fun.
